"English Only" - The moderators/administrators and other users must be able to read and comprehend your posts. To ensure this, we ask that everyone posts in English. All mods/admins are able to read and write in English. ToonTown and VMK are both primarily English games by Disney and therefore setting a common grounds of communication so there is little reason to be writing in other languages on these forums. The only exception are the international forums on TTC as these are forums for the International ToonTown servers who speak other languages. You may also write in other languages to your friends in PM. This applies to PMs to mods/admins, arcade comments, gallery comments, Userpages, user profiles, posts, and threads titles.

Oh gosh I thought you were gonna say "All people from England must have their posts accepted by a moderator".
Hasn't this rule always been here? Or just a reminder?

Up until now, I've only heard of that rule on chat. I guess they only now agreed on adding it to the forums.

Up until now, I've only heard of that rule on chat. I guess they only now agreed on adding it to the forums. It has always been a policy in chat and one of those unwritten policies on the forums. Since some people keep insisting on posting in other languages, we've decided to officially add the policy.

does this mean we're not allowed to use "Aloha" or "ciao" anymore?

Those words are not English, so the answer should be no. If you allow a word in one language, then you have to allow a word in every language or it is discriminatory.

Are we still allowed to say things that we can say in VMK, like Aloha, Hola, Ciao, etc. ?

These words are fairly commonly used in many places around the globe and most people know what they mean. If you look them up in any English dictionary, you will find them included. One of the great things about English language is that it has continued to adopt and include additional commonly used words and phrases from other languages for centuries.

That's not really up to you to decide whether or not the policy should be implimented or not. We just ask that you obey the policy.

Hey Baleth, what about your sig? It is full of signs/letters that I doubt most of the people on this forum know. What is that again? Klingon? Lol, is that allowed? (jk)

Since Klingon is a fictional language that almost no-one can read, I doubt it'll be a problem.
