(Don't know if this is right place to post, mods, please move where ever if needed)

Need some help with rep? Here the guide for you!

HOW TO GIVE REP:
At the top of a post, the is a silver weighing tool. Click on it.
A small window will pop up to give rep.
Click to little circle that says I approve to give positive rep.
Click the I disapprove to give negitive rep.
Then, if wanted, you can type a comment, don't be afraid to leave your name!

HOW TO CHECK YOUR REP:
Click the USER CP button at the top of the page and you will see you rep. There on the left side is what thread you posted in and on the right side is a comment(if added)

WHY REP WAS TAKEN AWAY IN 05:
As some of you may know, rep was taken away bak in 05. The reason? People starting trading VMK items to people to give them rep and flaming people for rep. Staff didn't want to handle it anymore, so they took it away. If you want to keep the rep system, use it wisely!

REP COLORS AND MEANINGS:
GREEN:
The color green is positive, where you have gotten good Rep. Having this is very good, because every so often after you get a certain number of rep points, you get another green dot! So, if you get getting go rep, you get more Rep dots.
RED:
Red dots mean that you have been given lots of bad rep. if you keep getting bad rep you'll get more and more red rep dots. You DON"T want red dots.
GREY:
If a person has a grey dot that means they have turned off their rep system.

HOW TO TURN REP ON AND OFF:
Go to USER CP: go to options and the second option down will say "Show Rep Points" Check in the box to turn on rep, check out of the box to turn off rep.

ALSO:
You cannot keep giving rep to one person, after you give rep to them you have to give rep to some other people a few times before you can give rep back to them.

Well, I hoped this helped.

It is different now and that one has been sent to the archive. They may change everything, so I am keeping this going.

Can someone take a screen shot and show me where the X and _/ are?

I keep looking and it never shows up.

Thanks

I made a HUGE thread about this long time ago, not sure if it was changed or put in the archive though.

In your guide I think you should add the link to the old thread and talk about how that last one went wrong and was deleted!

That is nice you wrote that out. You may want to mention that you can only give rep to three people each 24 hours. I know I didn't know that at first. And I think you have to give to ten different people before you can start to repeat...

thanks for the effort.

Red is negative points I think? Green is positive. Not too sure on that though.

Atarii, maybe you should add more to the red-green-gray Rep section.
But this time, it should be about recieving rep colors.
For example, I bet a few people would wanna know if they have been given a bad rep.
