Hi Im getting a Wii on AUGUST THE 3RD! and I would like you guys to help me count it down so anyways I was gonna try the harry potter 5th video game for wii at EB games yesterday but my remote and nunchuk went dead on me and I didnt even get to play lol but Im thinking about getting and and pirates of the caribbean 3 at worlds end are those good games? tell me i wanna get some good games:D and DON'T forget....HELP ME COUNT DOWN EVERYDAY!

i rented HP5 on my PS2 and i thought it was very disappionting. it is a Very short game, and to me it is very easy. although the missions were fun :D

I just got a Wii.. I would say Get mario party (GREAT GAME) and Harry Potter 5, It's kind of easy, but it is cool to be able to go everywhere in Hogwarts..

i just recently got a wii and it is amazing! super monkey ball is a good game to get as well as big brain academy. the only problem is your arm gets a little sore but hey u get used to it :)

That will be something I'd like to see. guitar Hero is so addicting and I'm pretty good. i have guitar hero 2 on my XBOX 360. i play my 360 and gamecube a bit more than the wii. the wii is especialy good on a rainy day... play some wii sports and its gonna feel like your outside!!! I would get Zelda: twilight princess... i love it-- i just finished the game and I started the day the wii came out (when I got mine). it has great graffics and is lots of fun.

I would say try renting Mario Party 8 and WarioWare: Smooth Moves, they are fun, but get boring pretty quickly. They are both best when played with friends. I really recommend renting most games before you buy them, there aren't a lot that have much lasting fun at the moment.

He probably has it on gamecube and since all gamecube games are compatiable with the Wii he is just playing it on wii, it isn't made for wii.

It doesn't use motion sensing as it should, and the games are not planned out. RRR is better.

HP5 looks amazing. You have to remember that the game for the PS2 vs. the Wii will be different, because of how the Wii works.

I wouldn't recommend Pirates 3, I bought it and haven't enjoyed it at all. All you do is fight with your sword, no thinking involved at all.

Mario Party 8 is great. My family has played it several times and we have enjoyed it greatly.

My friend has Cooking Mama and said it is a lot of fun, but I can't personally recommend it as I haven't tried it myself.

Wii Sports and Wii Play are both fun. I love the cow races and the laser hockey on Wii Play. Those 2 games made the purchase worth it, and don't forget that you get the bonus Wii-mote with Wii Play. Plus it is the price of a Wii-Mote and you get the game (Bonus!).

I haven't really played a lot of other games on the Wii yet, but what I am waiting for is the opportunity to play with other people online. I have some friends around the country that I'm waiting to take on.

BTW, anyone know if they are going to release a Mario Kart for the Wii? That would be killer!

Like everybody else, I think Mario Party 8 is the best way to go. You will most likely enjoy Wii Sports (Because it's a free game, of course ;)), and Rayman: Raving Rabbids is a hilarious/entertaining game.

Well mario party 8 is only fun for a while. You mostly hold it NES style, and there are games such as balancing on a tightrope, and jumping from platform to platform. The game LAGS..A low quality game is not SUPPOSED TO LAG.

:D I look at the smaller aspects that make the game fun.
