I don't know if this has been announced yet (I searched, but I didn't find anything...), but Toontown is now offering FREE accounts, where you can play for as long as you want. Don't believe me? Check this (http://play.toontown.com/webHome.php?r=57496&r=60779&r=27475&r=312721) out for yourself.

However, the game is probably limited, as will the free PotCO accounts be.

That's sort of unfair to people who have been paying for the game for about 3 to 4 years. I think they should give free accounts to people who have been playing a long time.

The free access don't have all the features that a paying account does. No need for paying members to worry, you're still getting your money's worth.

Oh ok, good. It's wouldn't be fair to give free accounts to people who just started and they can get all the things the paying member have. :)

I've been playing Toontown for 4 years, as Smoop said, only some access. They can ONLY stay in Toontown Central, they can go to their houses ( For members too ), they can buy doodles and fish only in Toontown Central, I believe its free for only 3 days, it's on the main page, a Free 3 Day Trial.

BTW which is where my title came from.

TT Title: Mister Goopy Poopenface

Not any longer. The free account lets you play for as long as you want. However, I don't know how far they'll let you get in the game.

They let you do the racing mini-game with the free account, and you can have up to two toons.

P.S.: If the link doesn't work for you, just go to the homepage.

I used to play TT, WAY back then. I believe I played before the third Cog factory came out.
Maybe even the second. Can't exactly remember.

Then what features do free accounts don't get?

I played on a free account and it was really fun and I would play it some more but my computer is wayy to slow to handle VMK and Toontown so I stuck with the 100% Free game (VMK) =)

Then what features do free accounts don't get?

Most likely, the accounts won't get access to some of the other areas (cog factories and what-not) as well as some of the gags and quests.

People, the free accounts get the following:

Access to Toontown Central only
Access to TTC tasks only
Buy a doodle in TTC
Fish in TTC
Go to estates

Everything else is reserved for paying members. Like me. I have a 120 laff toon.

Signed upa free one to see what it limits you to do. Here is what I found.

--Directly taken from email that was sent--

With a free account, you are able to:

- Create and personalize two Toons
- Explore an entire themed
neighborhood filled with
Toontastic tasks
- Battle robot Cogs with an
assortment of cartoon gags
- Enjoy a Toon house for each of
your Toons
- Race karts, adopt pet Doodles, fish,
and collect clothes to customize your Toons
- Play whenever you want for as long as you want -- all for free!

-----

So for us paying members we still have all of the same abilities we always had. What I am not sure of though is after these free toons complete all of the TTC tasks, what happens? Do they just start offering the Just For Fun tasks? Personally I think that would be a waste of time considering new toons only get 10 minute effects. So unless they changed it so free members automatically get the 30-day tasks, I think the game would get boring after TTC Tasks. No Secret Friends (Whatever they are called now), No getting higher than 25 laff. Only able to train 3 gag tracks. (I see many ubers in the near future) Personally I think once all of the goals are met, there is nothing left to do for free members.

For the people who have been paying, they get access to other lands, like Minnie's Melodyland, Donald's Dock, Daisy's Gardens, and the Cog Factorys. The people who do not pay, can only go to the Toon Raceway, and Toontown Central, and what the muffin dude said.

Love how you said the muffin dude. Haha, but yes and what I said, besides the bottom can be directly quoted from the e-mail they send you upon free sign up.

EDIT: Just realized my post count was what it is. I always thought I only hd about 500 LOL.

Okay, it's been confirmed: You may only have access to ToonTown Central and the Races, as well as your home. They won't be losing money; many people will probably get bored after completing everything they can and will want to buy the subscription. This way, they'll have more than just 3 days to play and get excited about it.
