Recently on VMK i have gotten this message that pops up saying ' out of memory ' and then goes on to say something about purgeable cast members.

I was wondering if anyone could help me out on how to fix this, since it has been happening more and more recently. When it happens again, i'll post exactly what it says in the windows that pop up.

Also, after this happens, i cannot click on anything in VMK, not even to log out, so i end up having to click the X in the corner of the window, close out the whole internet and then log in again, which is getting very annoying.

This has happened to me before. If you wait a sec maybe I can find something about that problem.

Using VMKPal? It only happens to me when I use that. Of course not all the time. If thats the case, I suggest using firefox, much faster.

This used to happen to me. It helps if you go to internet options and delete all the temporary internet files before you log on, and rebooting the computer just before you log on helps, too. It didn't stop completly until I added more memory to my computer, but doing those things helped.

yea this happens to me a lot when i use vmkpal and i have bad lag. but i still use it anyways lol

All right, it just happened and here is what it exactly says:

Out of memory loading member 15 of PLAYER-CAST 40, even after purging all purgeable castmembers.

That has happened to me before (I think) but nothing ever really happened.

I just restart my computer, and everything's back to normal.

That's happened to me before... a LONG time ago. I don't remember what I did to fix the problem, but it's obviously fixed for me now :)

This is specifically an error message from Director (Adobe/Macromedia) the program used to make VMK. The castmember information is about an item in a library. For instance all of our clothes, furnishings, pins etc. are castmembers. Yes the program ran out of memory to display a castmember or object in VMK. Short story long.

Best thing to do is restart your computer and it'll be back to normal.

i got that message too. it usually doesn't do anything except disconnect me, though.

i had that happen before but its not a bug its really out of memory of the game bc the game takes a lot to play so..

That happened to me before. i was like "what!?!?" and here's wat it should say if u were doin this:
(Purgable cast member 48) idk wat was next......but....that always happens to me forever. so i had to shut off VMK for the rest of the week. :(

i dont see that happening any time in the near future on vmk seeing as though they just started letting us use the word baby
