HI!
Lately the kids in my family have been trying to get our parents too take us to Disney. The problem is we just went last year in September, It was totally awesome. This year we are going to Ohio so I guess not this year, unless we get them to change their mind, since we have not booked anything in Ohio yet.
The last problem is, a family member will be on college next year in September. What is the least busiest time when school is out to go?

Anyway, my main question is..... Is there any tricks to getting your parents to take you too Disney World?

I believe the trick is to have parents like me and my wife, who are even more Disney-addicted than our kids are.

A great time to go is during fall break. My family went in October, and it was great! Not as crowded, and not sizzling hot!

As seen on Drake & Josh: "Usually they'll crack and say 'yes' by the 14th time I ask." Or they said something like that. Just keep asking 14 or 15 times!

When we were under 9 years old, trips to Disney (aside from transportation) were decently cheap. Aside from that, we had annual passes. In elementary school, the teachers didn't mind if we took a vacation as long as we made up the missed work, so we had the advantage of going during a cheaper season ;) As we got older, Disney was less and less of a trip we saw. I think after 6 years of a Disney break, my parents were planning another trip, but it was too expensive for our budget. We actually did go last year, finally.

I know how you feel, Disney is awesome, and you want to go, badly. But if you go in your parents shoes, college tuition is pretty expensive if their helping your sibling with paying it. Other than that, just be good, rofl. Parents can read minds LOL.

Eh, I just kept bugging my mom about it until she finally gave in and took me for my birthday :D

But that only works on some parents ;)

If any of you have any upcoming trips, besides Disneyworld, you can ask your parents if you could switch the trips around. I asked and it worked :)! But that was from last year. It was awesome! I still wish I was there ;).

well sometimes when you ask too much they get annoyed..i go all the time i went january march may then in sptember we might go and same with december as you see we skipped all summer because it gets so crowded. But my parents love disney same with my sister kinda like neotney loll not to long ago i found out my dad went before he even had kids and he was just alone and just kept going back he really loves it, and the cool thing back then was that they had these coupon type things to get into each ride not that cool but at least he had the expirence [sorry off topic] oh and also if you go in like the first week of december its suppose to be empty well alot less people... but idk if thats true.. anyway just keep tryingg and tell your parents how much you miss it lol

I guess its not really a trick but if you and your siblings all agree, try talking to your parents and explaining how much fun you had last time and how much you would enjoy going again. Maybe Bring up some of the special moments you enjoyed together on that trip that may be repeated by going again or suggesting new moments that may occur while there. Good Luck.

Say that you havent been their in awhile (if you went before) and you dont remember it much, tell them you need to refrish your memory, it worked with my parents. You could also just ask them if they never took you before that everone talks about it and you never can and they call you a loser, they want to make you feel happy :)

Here are some ideas for strategies:

1) Subtle: "How about we go back to Disneyworld again this year?"
2) Frugal: "I hear those value hotels are pretty cheap at Disneyworld! Also they have free buses from the airport to Disney"
3) Guilt: "We should go to Disney...<college kid> won't be able to do these vacations with us much more!"
4) Tug on heart strings: "Let's go to Disney again! I never had so much fun with my family!"
5) Selfish: "Let's go to Disney! Dad, you can play golf and Mom, you can go to the Spa!"
