TikiRoom 07-02-2007, 05:39 AM Looks good. And as always, Riley looks pretty funny. Haha.
I saw a trailer for it when I was watching Pirates 3 a few days ago, for the second time. I guess they change the trailers.

AstroAcer 07-03-2007, 03:53 AM I loved the first movie, and saw the trailer for the second when I saw pirates three. It looks alright, correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the trailer talk about them going to different countries? What happened to National Treasure?
mickey0794 07-03-2007, 03:56 AM well i absolutely HATE universal bc they steal so many disney ideas so usually i barely watch universal movies unless it is something EVERYONE in the entire school has seen it or will see it
alphaspida 07-03-2007, 03:59 AM Wow, guess they decided to make another movie two years later?
GreenGirlJess 07-03-2007, 04:02 AM I saw the first movie in one of my history/civics classes within the last three years. It was great.. I can't wait for another!
gigarichard 07-03-2007, 04:03 AM I am just glad everyone is back in it. Would have been weird to have a different cast for some people. I love Helen Mirren! I am glad she is in the movie.
Orangemarker 07-03-2007, 04:18 AM I think it will be good. Riley will be funny as always :D
Thenishall 07-03-2007, 04:19 AM I thought the first one was good enough. I wasn't too fond of the movie.
Caterpillar AEIOU 07-03-2007, 05:52 AM Just to clarify...
This is a DISNEY Movie.
Part of it was filmed on the Backlot of Universal Studios in Hollywood.
It is very common for the different movie and TV studios to use each others Backlots.
The Movie is called National Treasure 2, Book of Secrets. It is based on the 18 missing pages of John Wilkes Booth's Diary ( he assassinated Abraham Lincoln)
Parts of the Movie are being filmed at different historical sites in the USA.
The White House, Mount Rushmore etc.
I dont want to give away a lot of the Movie, but I loved the first one, and this one looks even better.
Fairy 07-03-2007, 06:24 AM Eh.
The first movie was a disgrace.
I Didn't like it either. Whatever, alot of people seem to like it. My Sister has played it about 25 times in the past 5 days.. She loves it 0_0 At least she isn't using my account for evil.
PinkTinkPixie 07-03-2007, 07:58 AM Really? A National Treasure sequal?
Man, I go to the movies a lot, and I haven't once seen a trailer for this, or anything :/ Hmm...
National Treasure didn't really seem to be a "sequal movie" to me, if you know what I mean. Sure, it left an opening for one, but it just seems like the type of movie where the sequals not even going to compare with the first.

Pirate_Will 07-03-2007, 07:12 PM Did u no they r going to mexico ( well i think they r ) check the end the is a plot
P.S. A plot is the end of a movie that is part of the next movie
Caterpillar AEIOU 07-04-2007, 02:34 AM Did u no they r going to mexico ( well i think they r ) check the end the is a plot
P.S. A plot is the end of a movie that is part of the next movie
The end of the Movie is called a conclusion.
A PLOT is the MAIN idea of the Movie.

Gamma_Ray_Scientist 08-03-2007, 02:35 AM well i absolutely HATE universal bc they steal so many disney ideas so usually i barely watch universal movies unless it is something EVERYONE in the entire school has seen it or will see it
Honestly I have to say this Disney is for little kids
Universal is for teenagers.
Name one time Universal has coppied Disney also Expedition Everest coppied off Revenge of the mummy with the ride technolgy.
I cant wait to see National Treasure 2 it looks real good
-If I hug one more princess I'm gonna hurl
Little girl.
Facnyface 08-03-2007, 03:14 AM Not really Expedition Everest has high technology used. ROTM has your basic rollre coaster ride technology used becuase the tracks move side to side and it has a turn table (commonly found for trains) and some fog and lighting effects. It has robots that move and such like basicly any ride and show. But EE has tracks that flip over a monster that looks real that comes out and attacks you and it goes forwards and backwards (basicly the only part that it somewhat copys off of ROTM)
Goofyono 08-03-2007, 03:43 AM i'm excited.. I <3 NT 1.. I learned the dec was signed July 4, 1776 lol.. caaaannnttt wait <3
Facnyface 08-03-2007, 11:54 PM Don't you learn that in History class? I learned that before I was even in histroy class I learned that in 1st grade to be exact :)
sunnyskye 11-02-2007, 04:09 PM I just looked through Disney.com, and came to the National Treasure: Book of Secrets movie site. I watched the trailer, and it looks sooo good! Here it is: http://disney.go.com/disneypictures/nationaltreasure/ It looks very promising, I can't wait to see it! It comes out 12-21-07, four days before Christmas. It looks like all the same people are in it, and a few new people. Here is what I gathered from watching the trailer a few times:
The movie is about another treasure hunt, but with a lot more twists and surprises. When John Wilkes Booth's (Abraham Lincoln's assassin) missing diary pages are uncovered, it reveals something the Gates' family wasn't ready for. The pages say that his great-great-great Grandfather planned out Abe's assassination. Shocked, Gates tries to find out more secrets, and what all this means. He finds out that a lot of information is in a book that he may never be able to get. It is the President's Book of Secrets, and only the President can look in it. In this book holds information on the Kennedy conspiracy, Area 51, and more. So Gates figures he will kidnap the President. This info takes them around the world. And, as always, there are the bad guys who want to figure out all the clues first. The trailer claims that they will find something "The world isn't ready for."
This movie looks really good, and may be as good as the first! Please post if you have any more info! Here are some places and landmarks I found in the trailer: Mount Rushmore, with hidden stairs behind it; Eiffel Tower; London, and a lot more.
DarthRobbie 11-02-2007, 05:16 PM This has been out for several months now, the show look awesome! Congrats to Disney for bringing back all of the original cast, it will be a blast!
DR
sunnyskye 11-02-2007, 06:04 PM Yes, I'm very glad Disney brought back the original cast! It looks like some characters have changed though. Riley has a new look, but it looks good.
Captain Kool 11-19-2007, 08:55 PM Where I used to go to school before I moved, was a few houses down from where John Wilkes Booth actual home was.
I will definetly see the second one, the first one had great actors, great scenery, and a overall great concept. Besides, I want to see what they think Area 51 looks like. :D I noticed alot of people didn't like it, because they knew nothing about the history of our country.
Paint>Ball<Pro, your never to old for Disney.
BasketballFarrah 11-19-2007, 09:55 PM I <3 this movie I can't wait for it to come out!
sunnyskye 11-19-2007, 10:02 PM Yeah I loved the first one! I hope I can see the second one right after it comes out. It is a few days before Christmas, so it might be hard to see it before then.
spaced_out 11-22-2007, 10:28 AM WOOT!
I can not wait for national treasure 3: jail time.
space
