I know I speak for everyone when I say, we all hate it when vmk closes at night. We want to play more! catch up! finish our games and stuff that the closing time cuts into!

Well Just Recently I spoke with a girl who seems to have discovered a glitch in the game that has never before been accessed!

"Its now an Hour and 50 minutes since after VMK closed! AND I'M STILL IN!!!!!

AND GUESS WHAT?!?!?! I'M PLAYING PIRATES!!!!!!

OMG OMG!! Has this EVER happened to anyone else?!?!?!"-Said the Past Curfue Vmk Player.

After talking with WonderGurly, she explained all that happened.


"When vmk closed I was on my way to my guest room, and the Little box that says 'vmk is closed' and 'connection lost' popped up. The funny thing was, I was still just on my way to my room! In other words. the screen was still loading, So I didnt check those boxes (because if you do, it goes back to the login screen), and believe it or not those boxes went away, my room finished loading, and I appeared inside my room!!! its was then 5 minutes after vmk closed, and I started moving around. I looked into guest rooms and there was NO ONE! and then I looked in just random public rooms around vmk and there was absolutely no one!!! So I went to the pirates room, and the safari game room, and I played some games!! and made tons of credits!!!
This has to be the most amazing thing to ever happen to me in vmk! And I stayed a total of 2 hours past the vmk closing time!!!”



The Glitch you all have been waiting for has now been discovered, and vmk-ers all around are still trying to figure it out and how its possible.

WonderGurly, the "founder" of this said glitch, is now known as the First Player to freely wander VMK after it has closed (for exactly 2 hours!)

It was a really cool glitch, but I doubt it would work again. hence the word "glitch".

I'm not saying it's impossible; it has happened before. A few months ago (I'm afraid I don't recall exactly when) a whole bunch of us stayed on for a good half hour or so after closing. The 'goodnight' message popped up, we clicked okay, and nothing happened. So it is possible, but I don't see why it would happen to just one person and nobody else. I'll see if I can't find a thread...

I have a question. When you are going into a room what if it loads to fast and right when you enter vmk closes? Like how do you get to go in a room like after vmk closes?

I think that picture of No one in popular guest rooms counts as good proof. because if anyone were on, they would be in a guest room or at LEAST ONE person would be, and since popular guest rooms tab is for the guest rooms with the most people. that person's guest room would be under it, even if it DID have just one person or two, because no one else is in a room that has more people. lol. Much better proof would have been pics of the time-stamped messages that you get after playing pirates, but even those can be faked.

the problem with your picture of the guest room list is the list lags when it first shows up so if you where in your room at the time it would have been more beliveable

yea..this isn't new. Many vmkers have stayed on WAY past closing time. I for one stayed on for quite some time after vmk closed. It was interesting, but then i got bored :P. But thx for sharing with us.

I don't know if this bug is true or not, but I don't think any of us should take advantage of the situation, it could get people banned.

I think the problem should be extinguished by the staff.

this person may or may have not stayed on past vmk closing time. Since there weren't any witnesses, besides her "pictures" and someone said that she told them, we have no proof. However I do know it is possible to stay after closing time. Possibly she was on, maybe she's just playing us. Like i said there is NO way to confirm this, because it is too easy to fix photos just like speed posted...

I've done it before, everyone else was disconnected and I was the only one left, so I went in a few rooms.. but it was creepy and nothing to do (I didnt think you could get that much from AI Pirates either) so I left!

Well I'm sorry to say, but I dont need your opinions to prove that I hadn't actually stayed after closing time. And I feel kindof offended that most of you are trying to prove that my story is fake. Those pictures are real not fake. even though it is POSSIBLE to make those kind of pictures thought editing, they ARE real. and I HAVE stayed 2 hours after closing time. so please stop saying I hadn't, when I have. And heres the trick I personally suggest everyone should give a try, it might work for you. Make sure you go to your room just SECONDS! (I repeat)SECONDS!! before vmk closes. Then on your way to your room,those 'vmk is closed' boxes will show up. when they do. DON'T TOUCH THEM!!!! Instead. leave them. leave the computer for a bit, go watch tv or something. then come back like... oh lets say... like 10 or 20 minutes later? because it seems like those 'vmk is closed' boxes only stay for so long before it just goes to regular screen. If you hadn't noticed the 'ten minutes til closing time' box will do that too. if you leave it be for like lol 10 minutes. but anyway, then those boxes would go away and Poof! you survived the vmk curfue!

Well... Thats what happened to ME anyway. I'm not sure if it would happen again, but its worth a try, what do you have to lose?

I have been on after VMK closed so it is indeed a real glitch that happens occasionally. I, like someone else mentioned earlier, didn't find it too amusing after the first 10 minutes so just logged off. I didn't think to try any games :)

This doesn't happen all that often and there is no way to reproduce it. It is also probably best to not try to "get around" the closing time on purpose. I am pretty sure that that would fall under the "don't take advantage of game bugs" rule.

I want some solid proof..

The VMK Staff will find out about it sooner or later and will try to fix it >_<

I think, that maybe this is true.

The only reason VMK closes at night is so that Moderators and other staff can go to sleep. If you stay on passed closing time, there will be no Mods on, and no way to punish people who do wrong between those hours. It is totally not safe and will most likely result in a ban, and trust me, it is NOT worth a ban to stay on for 1 or 2 extra hours.
