The sequel to the 2006 animated feature The Wild:

It is not yet confirmed but the producers and creators are negotiating about making the film.
There should not be a sequel in my eyes. >_<
What do you think about it?

The first movie wasn't good enough to warrant a sequel. But, as is Disney's recent trend - sequel it until you cannot think of anything new and then do yet another sequel (yes Tarzan and Cinderella . . . I'm looking at you!)

I liked the first film, though Madagascar was better.

I agree with Neoteny's statement on Madagascar was better. I don't think The Wild should have ever came out, for it's just like a twist on Madagascar. The movies basically have the same idea, but different things getting in their way. I don't think that they should make a 2nd, the first was not very successful and I do not think they should take a risk to make a movie that won't be very successful.

Actually, The Wild was in production before Madagascar, Madagascar was just announced a little earlier, and The Wild was announced a little later.
Madagascar was rushed in production so it could come out first, the explanation why some of the animation looks ziggy, and some of the characters move like they had a double mocha latte cappuchino.
It's similar head-to-head combat that has happened to Dreamworks and Disney before.
Antz was rushed into production to beat A Bug's Life to theaters.
Finding Nemo, and then Shark Tale released over a year later.
Flushed Away and Ratatouille. Mess with Ratatouille and you've gone too far Dreamworks!
Though I do agree Madagascar proved to be much better.
Disney, whatever you do...
STOP NOW!!! NOOO!

Ummm.... The first film was horrible and a copy of another film anyhow. Why make a sequel?
