Well I posted this on another site so..My sister was playing Zoo Tycoon while we were doing..something..the next day, which is today, I found a list of problems with the internet.

My toolbars have been reset to the basic and MSN.
I've lost my google toolbar
I've lost my Auto-Login to MSN
I've been logged out of every fansite
My background was changed
The notice about the out-of-date Norton was gone
My homepage was changed to google
I cannot receive E-mails
I have lost access to 2 sites.
I cannot log onto VMK
I have major lag

I'll keep on updating the list..

Ok here's some updates

My dad updated the norton so some things are answered. I still don't get why I have

Reset Toolbars
Losing Auto-Login
Broken E-mail
Losing Access to sites
No Google Toolbar
LAG

Did you erase your cookies or empty your cache or something?

You can try shutting down your computer for a few hours.

Well my dad DID say during our conversation "When you clear your cookies." but then he stopped when we laughed and said "cookies"

Is that the problem?

lol, same with my computer ( that's why I'm always on my moms :P )
I erase cookies all the time but it doesn't solve lag.
You have to erase/reset your computer, but I don't really want to do that >_<

Temporary Files were most likely deleted. And History too... It may make your computer a little slow but it deletes junk that can give your computer problems. :)

Clearing your cookies shouldn't have done any of that.. perhaps your sister clicked something else without realising it, while playing the other game. My sister does that all the time :rolleyes:

Lemony, i have 2 words: system restore. use system restore to restore your computer back to the day before the accident happened

Instructions:
click start and all programs
click accessories
click system tools
Click system restore
click restore my computer to an earlier point
Find the date before the accident happened and click it
Click next
The computer will restart.
as the computer restarts it will restore your computer to the "Day" before the accident.

-note that this will keep your current date and desktop picture but will remove the lag and all the other stuff that was affected.

..Does that mean I can use this to get 100 pairs of green flips? :D

You know what a computer account is? Yeah...

For now, if you ask me, the best thing would be to reformat. That should completely take care of all the problems. The only bad thing is that you would have to reinstall everything on there. There may be other solutions, but they most likely will NOT solve the complete problem. If you need any help with this, let me know.

Honestly for the problem I have yet to find cause the same thing is going on with me but for the cause now that could of been a glitch with the programming of the Zoo Tycoon yet it could also be a simple flicker of your storage drives. One thing though is that my friend whos dad works with viruses said that there is a new one that is rare but rare which will do that. Anyway good luck.
