Well today I was logging onto VMK with VMK Pal and then this pop up thing comes up saying:

Out of memory, even after purging all purgeable castmembers.

Then, the VMK screen just stops. I can't click anything.

And when I use the regular site it does it again. My dad says its because the game takes too much virtual memory. I do believe him, but I just want to know, is there any way to solve this or will I never be able to play VMK again?!

I have gotten this message before. I just restart my laptop and then vmk works again. I am not sure of the specifics but I believe it has to do with the amount of virtual memory that is used during one session (the time that the computer has been continuously running without a shutdown or restart). Each time that I have restarted my computer this problem went away.

I guess if restarting doesn't work try uninstalling VMK Pal so it takes up less memory, or if you have other computer games on your computer that you don't play anymore take those off too! Hope that helps! =)

This is correct :)
If you cannot stay on for very long then you can buy memory in various amounts to boost your computer (which is what I have done). Also check your virtual memory settings in the control panel area. Make sure they are set to maximum.

If you have vista your computer memory will decrease allot due to it being such a big operating system. But hey i love it. In most often cases your computer memory decreases due to you saving files and things onto it.. Time has its toll so..

Hope i could help?

I've gotten this message before, but it never really affected my computer.

I do know, you can probably buy a memory card or something. Since I'm getting another Imaging Software, I need more speed and space. So I'm getting more memory. My dad told me that more memory would help speed up the computer. :) Maybe try that.

There are a few ways to solve this. You can get more RAM for your computer, up the page file (virtual memory), or if you have Vista, use a Flash Drive or something like that and use Ready Boost.

If you need help with any of those, PM me please.
