im going to dlr and dca soon and i need some answers to my questions! here are the q's!

1. can you only get fastpasses with the anual passes? and any other season pass thingy's lol??

2. dlr closes at 12 pm/am and dca closes at 9 pm, so if you had a park hopper and u went to dca til closing and then you wanted to go to dlr, could you still get in the park or is it close to ppl coming it but there is still ppl in the park?

3. what are the 5 rides with the longest lines at dlr?

4. what are the 5 rides with the longest lines at dca?

5. is the finding nemo ride worth a 4 hour wait even if your only at the park for 1 day?

6. how do you get the finding nemo vmk panflet things?

7. when you get the magic mirror in the magic shop, do you only get it 1 per magic item you bought and if so do you have to ask for them or they ask you or the just put them in the bag?

8. cali screamin doesnt open til 1 pm on weekdays due to the construction on toy story mania, does anyone know if there is any other rides closed not also due to this but bc of anything else?

9. the theaters in the parks, both dlr and dca, if there are any, if i were to go see potc 3 there do you have to pay or is it free bc it's included from the ticket prices?

10. can u still get the red penny press? and if so what store do you get them from?

Wow. Lots of questions. I'll try to answer them the best I can, since I just went on Monday.

1.) Nope, as long as you have any ticket to get into the park you can use those for the fastpass machines to get a fastpass ticket for that certain ride. It just has to be the admission ticket or if you do have an annual pass, then that will work too.

2.) If you mean go to DCA until closing then "hop" on over to DLR, then yeah you can do that. There's only a three hour difference and DLR wouldn't be closing that fast anytime soon.

3.) Hmm. For a fact, a definite fact the new Finding Nemo: Submarine Voyage is a VERY long line. On Monday they even had signs posted up saying, "This is the 60 minute mark..this is the 130 minute mark..etc". Since you're going soon, it still might be a long line. Depending on the day you go (if it's busy) a lot of the line's will be at least 30+ minutes. Space Mountain was long as well, but getting a fastpass helps.

4.) DCA..when I went the lines were much, much shorter than DLR. California Screamin had a long line when I went, but I advise you to get fastpasses for that. As I said before, it usually depends on how many people there are in the parks that day.

5.) Hmm..from at young teen's point of view I wouldn't say it's worth it. Yeah, it was nice to experience the whole submarine-feeling and the new additions but even though I never got to ride the original one it wasn't totally worth it. When I went, we met up with another family (by surprise) and they offered to stay in line while some of the kids hopped on other rides in Fantasyland or nearby and then switched so we wouldn't have to wait the entire time for 4 hours. :)

6.) You have to be in line, and from what I saw a castmember goes by the line and offers you one. I didn't get one because I was going to get in line for the Matterhorn but it's a nice little activity to do while waiting but you don't get any VMK prizes which is a bummer.

7.) Hmm. I didn't do this last time but when I did it once last year I bought one item and they gave me one card. I guess if they're nice enough and you're nice to them they might give you more. I'm not completely sure though, sorry!

8.) I don't think I know of any other rides, sorry!

9.) Theaters? I know there's an AMC theater in Downtown Disney (which you'll most likely have to pay for) but I don't know of any theaters inside the parks.

10.) There is a store in Adventureland..Winnie the Pooh's Closet? Something along the line of Winnie the Pooh but I don't fully know if they still give it out. :)

Any store that sells pins.

You can bring cameras. Just can't use the flash. Not only is it annoying and distracting to others riding, most of the time, the photos never turn out. Some rides use projection, while others use lit scrim. Flashes just don't work.

Animator's Desk at the Animation Building. Magic Mirror from the Magic Store. Nemo Quest/Activity Booklet from Subs (depending on when you go, the Sub Middle card may be available)

5. I'm a cheater in a way. My mom can't walk very long so we had a wheelchair and only had to wait like, an hour. So... If someone is hurt.. And My dad crashed the wheelchair into my ankle so it's sprained so you see this old guy, my dad, walking around pushing one wheelchair at a time, it was HILARIOUS. Anyways, so yeah and it was worth it :)

it's gone now?!?! somone told me like there is 2 caves in innoventions and you go in there and you can do trivia and win prizes. but can you still make new in- park characters in there?

They may still have the game terminals, but with the booth gone, I'll wager the trivia will be going soon too, if it hasn't already.

The costs vary upon the style you get. And the embroidery is included in the price.

Yes. You don't even have to be staying at the Disneyland Hotel. There is a 'newsstand' at DLR's entrance (left side, towards Group Sales) that will hold your purchases until you are ready to leave.

As of closing yesterday, the line was only about a half hour. If you're in line at park closing, you ride.

Let's say the park closes at 12:00. You get in line at 11:00, and the wait is 1 1/2 hours. At 12:00, they stop letting anyone new into the line. But since you are already in the line, they don't kick you out. They continue running the ride until the line is clear. Make sense?
