Like, I remember watching one episode where she hit Oliver with a pillow or slapped his arm at least five times! lol Poor Oliver! I know he's supposed to be "silly" or whatever, but jeez...

But anyways, in regards to her new album, I don't like it nearly as much as her first. It all starts to sound the same after a while, and she sounds like she is trying to grow up or be older than she really is with some of her song lyrics. I looked some of them up and they are a little odd.

So, if I were asked my opinion on Hannah Montana, I could answer in one word: "Ugh..." Sorry to any die-hard Hannah-fans out there, I hope I didn't offend you.

I agree. Personally, I think she can't sing very good. I think all her songs are the same with different choruses. Honestly, name ONE single that sounds different? They all have the same preppy, poppy sound. I'm sorry, I don't like pop music very much. Her second album is a little dumb. Half are by Hannah and half by Miley... aren't they the same wang-dang (lol phrase my annoying teacher uses) person? Seriously...

As for the show, her country accent (when she decides to show it) is fake. I'm sorry, I live where there are more than one country accents, and they sound a little different than Miley's. And yes, you can make the argument that she was born and raised in Tennessee. Big deal! People in Michigan have country accents. This girl doesn't have one, her dad does, its not heredity, end of story.

Hannah is a little mean to Jackson (she called him an idiot about 400 times in one episode!) and Jackson is a little mean sometimes, but he's normally right in the end (anybody notice that?) In the episode where they share the bathroom, Jackson is right about Miley (and its so funny, because even Jason/Jackson knows she is preppy beyond belief!) When they do a spin-off of Hannah Montana (yes I said when; That's So Raven and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody both got one) I hope its about Jackson going to college. That would be funny!

Miley, ultimately in my opinion, isn't much of an actress or singer. My sister (the same age) is better than her at both. Just because her dad is famous... what a shame...

Yes I've heard the song and seen the video... it has a good meaning I guess, but 60% of the lyrics don't make sense.

It's called acting. Her and mitchel are like best buds. I play arouond w/ my friend's a slap them on the arm and i'm not acting... in her case she is. What matters? ...

I like her new album. It has more songs. And unlike all your average Disney girls she doesn't have that same little voice. I like vanessa anne hudgens but her voice is just like any popstar. It's that soft little mouse voice. Ashley Tisdale? I love her too! But her voice isn't unique. Miley has a whole totally different sound from most people.

Personally this is her best c.d. There is not 1 song i dislike.

Hmm as a matter of fact that is her voice. I saw a video of her when she was little and she had the little southern accent. And just because you live were people talk country or whatever it doesn't matter. She was raised differently. And that's the way she speaks. Why do you have to judge people who speak w/ there hometown accents? She says that she trys to hide it because people didn't like it. But that it always comes out through her voice.

And she doesn't write the show!!! They give her the script and if she has to call Jackson and idiot she has to. It's her job! Jason Earles doesn't get mad about that... that's her script.

Maybe you should make your own show with your sister who is better than Miley and then watch people give their opinions about it while you try to defend it.

Well, I have my opinion and you have yours. I think mine is right, you think yours is right. There's nothing wrong with either opinion.

And I'm not trying to make fun of her voice. Its not "low", or "a bad thing to judge". I realize its a SCRIPT (jeez, no need for caps) but in my opinion she's just not livinig up to it. I live in the south (not near Florida) and besides, not to be mean, but aren't all those tryouts in California? Seriously. Not everybody lives in California or Florida or New York.

I know what acting is...I just think that the writers could have done a bit better of a job of not making her look so snobbish, because at times (not all the time, but at times) she comes off rude to me. I don't ever slap even my best friend, even when we're playing around. I guess that is a matter of opinion too.

Like I said in my first post, I'm really sorry if I offended any huge Hannah fans out there. But I believe that the first post in this thread said to post comments about her new album, not compliments. So that, unless I am mistaken, means I have a right to my opinion too. And my opinion is that her album was not very good.

Her voice is different. All the songs don't sound the same. And she's the biggest popstar Disney has made.

Oh, and Goomba, her accent is 100% real.

Yes, I'll agree, she's the biggest popstar they've made. Doesn't mean she can sing any better. She can carry a tune pretty good, I'll give her that, but that doesn't even make a good singer. Her songs all have the upbeat tempo pop style song. I realize she's just sticking to her guns, but still, that doesn't mean they all need to sound similar.

Listen to the whole first album. Aren't they all uptempo (except If We Were a Movie?) and the same pop sound? And they're all pretty much about her double life.

Haven't heard much of the second album except those first few released. They all are the exact same style as well.
