Uh... lol. I am a Johnny Depp fanatic. And though I agree hes weird, I also think hes an amazing actor. I really admire him for taking all of those off-beat roles and not doing all of the roles that would make him popular. I could go on a whole rant of how much I admire him and why. I'm definatley not saying hes not weird and freaky in his ways, but really who isn't? Thats my say in this matter.

i'm a total johnny depp fan for the same reasons CaptnJacksgirl is. he's not a stuck up snob like most hollywood actors. he's sort of mysterious and a little dangerous looking, and the fact that he's half cherokee sure don't hurt the looks department at all. ;) heh i've gone all red, and me a married woman and all!

In my opinion, if you only know him from Pirates of the Caribbean, you are not a fan. Go watch Dead Man, Cry Baby, and Edward Scissorhands. Educate yourself with a little Benny and Joon, or maybe Nick of Time. The man cannot make a bad movie. If you really want to go deep, listen to a little Vanessa Paradis.

I must say, I probably couldn't agree more with jentink and Jess. Especially with what Jess said about his movies. As well as her great list already, Sleepy Hollow, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, and maybe even some Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and its remarkable the diversity between each of his roles and how he brings them all to life so beautifully.

I'm (obviously) a huge fan of Mr Depp as well. But you have to admit, he is weird, in a good way, but he is. lol. But if you don't think he is, all right, I'm not going to make you :)

Corpse Bride was amazing. My only complaint was that it was so short, 76 minutes.

I find it great how lately he's been moving into more child friendly genres for his kids. I'm sure he prefers Lily Rose and Jack to watch Finding Neverland and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory rather than Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas or Ed Wood.

I'm glad hes doing more child friendly movies. I love all of the movies I've seen of him (which is a lot.. should I be ashamed? lol) And I really don't think he wants his kids to watch Fear and Loathing... rofl. Its great to, my little cousin who is learning how to talk finally learned the words "Wonka" and "Pirate" which just made my day :D

Also, I think the more childfriendly movies gives him a little more room to be, I'm not sure how to say it, but maybe, imaginative? I'm glad he's taking the more imaginative route lately, but another part of me is absolutely dying for The Rum Diary and The Libertine to be released.

I think Johnny Depp is cool.. He's a great actor. Loved him in "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory." He made so many faces... It was hilarious. He was also really good in Pirates of the Caribbean.. Heard they were making another one, so, I can't wait! ;)

I like his 'flashback' faces. LOL. I was laughing hard.
