Well, next year is my graduation (from which grade I will not say.), and I'm trying to convince my principal to let my class go to Disneyland. It's going to be around about $319 per person. And with 26 kids going (chaperones will have to pay for them selves) my class would have to raise $5,200.

Got any fundraisers that are good, helpful, and can earn alot of money? If so, post 'em here!

Thanks guys I really appreciate it!

Always,
Kitri

Thats also a great idea! The awesome thing about the Cookie dough is the prizes will get them motivated! If you do do a carwash tho think about making a couple teams and award prizes to the top two teams!

Lolipops/ or normal candy. Sell nice lilipops (or candy) for 1.00, or even more, to peopel in your school. I onces had a lolipop fundraiser, and they simply sold themselves. You don't make a lot of income for each lolipop, I must have sold around 5 bags of them. And others sold a lot more. So really anything you can sell in school that people get right there (not having to sign something then wait). Those work the best IMO.

i like that lollipop idea but you have to go farther like you have to buy some candy on sale and sell them (big boxes) 1.50 when you could get them for like 3.00 for 3.

Enough of that idea my idea is to schedule a relay for life thing at like your school and get people to have payers watch them run laps. Its a good cause! also you would make money and you could have a stand for the runners and crowds to get some food and refreshments.
:) :) :) Thats a good 1!

There's a great lollipop company where you buy lollipops for $0.25 and you sell them for $0.50. Thaty provides good income. I'll see if I can post the website.

Well during the Christmas holidays, my school sells gift wrap.
We also sell magazines.
In 6th grade they take a trip to somewhere and they sell Hershey chocolate. $1.50 each.

edit- thought of one.

A Race For Education. We had one and raised enough money to buy 27 new computers for our computer lab.
We are having another one soon to get Smart Boards in every classroom xD 3 classrooms already have one though. You get a family member or relative to sponsor you, and for every lap you run they donate a specific amount of money.

our fopa (friends of performing arts) sells coffee and pizza and they're really good sellers. the students do it individually and they go in their account for the big europe trip or the smaller chicago trip.

Try contacting Hershey or Mars (M&Ms, skittles, snickers) and sell candy boxes. The boxes have 52 pieces of candy each, and you sell them $1 each. That's $52 a box, and you keep half your savings. 4 boxes is $104!

Dog walking, cleaning, and brushing.
Its an estimated $300 if you do ten dogs for walking and grooming.

-Host a Bake Sale
-Sell Fireworks (that is what I'm doing for colorguard, hello, summer!)
-Host a School Fair (and your class earns the profits, of course you do alot of the work)
-Car Wash

Those are the main things I think of.

Host a dance and make people pay, like, 3 dollars for admission?

The car wash sounds best to me. :)

You could have an event, like a walk-a-thon or something, and have people collect pledges. For example, someone's parent may pay $5 to the fundraiser for every mile their kid walks.
Good luck!

Ooooohhhh, Krispy Kreme's are the best. And you can also have a "Fundraiser Contest" where people sign up in groups on 2 or more, and do any fundraiser. All money earned is sent to you, and the fundraiser group with the most gets a prize! - ask your parents to go out and get 25 dollar gift cards to wall-mart or something-

I take my group on trips every year and have to raise lots of money. I am going to give away one of my fund-raising secrets.

Best one to date: car wash-a-thon

You have people get pledges for each car that is washed (5-cents or whatever). You advertise as much as you can that you are having a FREE car wash (this draws more cars!)

On that day, keep track of how many cars are washed (remember, FREE).

After the wash you collect the pledges based upon the number of cars washed.

You could also have a bake sale during the wash. People feel guilty for getting their car washed for free so also donate money. :)

My group raises on just this one fund-raiser anywhere from $5000-$10,000.

The deal with the pledges is that it is for the amount of cars the GROUP watches, not that individual person. So, if a member has a soccer game in the afternoon and can only help in the morning, the pledges are counted for the entire day!

We encourage participants to try to get $1.00 total in pledges (20 people pledging 5 cents each). If we wash 100 cars then that person will collect $100 in pledges. We usually wash about 200 cars or so. That would be $200 per person :)

You mentioned about 26 participants that would be:

$1.00 total in pledges per person
x 200 cars
= $200 per person in collected pledges
x26 participants
=$4800

not bad for a day's worth of work :D
