Has anyone gotten hacked by donating to VMKF, I mean, you do have to give your credit card number (obviously) and I am not suggesting that VMKF or PayPal or whatever isn't safe, but I'm just not so sure.

With PayPal, the other person does not see your financial information.

So it's all safe? Nobody can use this to hack into my credit card and spend all meh money? (Yeah, if there was any...LOL)

Paypal is a pretty safe site to use. That's why we use it to obtain donations for the forums. There are lots of scammers and fake paypal sites out there, so just be careful of those types of things. I'm sure paypal has a running list of the types of scams that go on for user's viewing. VMKF in no way will use any kind of personal info obtain to scam or otherwise harm you. We strive to keep a safe family environment for users to chat about their favorite game(VMK) and some other Disney related topics. Many of the mods have families themselves so understand the importants of this. All donations go towards funding and running of VMKForums.com. None of the mods are ever paid for their duties here so that all fund received only go directly into the upkeep of the forums. Forum backup, server, bandwidth, etc, all cost us quite a bit to keep such a large site running. All donations are greatly appreciated.

I use Paypal all the time and trust the site, but if you don't want to use your credit card you can have an account with them linked to your bank account where you make payments from. If you do this, I would open a new bank account to be used only for Paypal, not link them to your current one. You can have as much or as little money in the account as you want, so if someone did somehow get your info you wouldn't be out much.
