So i will be going to check out the resurfaced subs pretty soon and i was wondering if anyone went today or yesterday to check it out. I heard mixed reviews but the line was reported to be starting at Fantasyland!

Did anyone time how long the entire wait was?

Another site said it could be 4+ hours long. I believe it but is it true?

The cast members were saying it was six hours around 4 PM, but that's probably a large overestimate.

I was there on Monday around 6, and the CM at the start of the line (or end, whichever way you look at it). He stated a 3 to 3 1/2 hour wait. The line was almost to Small World (just past the former Motor Boat Cruise dock) with plenty of switchbacks along the way.

No, this is like a new attraction opening just before the summer rush. Happened to Indy, as well. Line stretched through Adventureland, out to Main Street, through Frontierland, and back towards Pirates. 4+ hours for that.

The novelty will wear off, and the wait time will drop to normal after summer.

Wow.. that's like a Splash Mountain Line!

But if you like to draw I can suggest while waiting in lines bring a drawing pad and draw things around you =)

Wow 4 hours? 6 hours? 3 and 1/2 hours?

That draws the line (pun).

I'm guessing lines will get longer as summer heats up too. With schools getting out and all.

Yeah. I saw the line on opening day. I saw pictures, when they had they had the blue carpet out. It was really long. Go on that ride first in the morning, no doubt, or you will be stuck in a very long line.

I read that they are giving out activity books and selling snacks in the line. At least they people something to do while we they wait. (I'm going soon. I hope the line won't be too crazy then).

I believe there are a total of eight submarines, each can hold 40 people, and each trip is about 13.5 minutes. Add in the loading and unloading time, it would be lucky to get 1000 guests through the ride in an hour (a very low capacity considering that tens of thousands of guests are in the park on a typical, busy season day)

any more updates on wait times anyone?

8 Submarines is not a lot.
Approx. every 2 minutes 40 people leave if the ride is continuous.
I guess you gotta' be in the park for opening, and right on round to Nemo to get on!

NaviMap: Do all the submarines leave at once, or is it continuous?

There are only 3 spaces on the dock, so they can only load that many at a time. I could get into explaining 8-boat triples, but that would take a while. :wave2:

(Subs maybe we'll wait until last week of June)

By the way wasn't the Monorail looking great like a big bananna sub!!
