Storyline/Background
Beauty and the Beast is one of the best-known Disney Films. Made in 1991 with Walt Disney Feature Animation and Walt Disney Theatres it was originally released on November 13, 1991 to theatres.
In the beginning a young prince denies a beggar who is disguised as a beautiful maiden. She then turns him into a beast and his servants turn into household items. His castle turns to dark, hopefully he will now not judge by appearances. The curse is only broken if the Beast learns to love again and have the other love him as well. In later years their lived a young girl named Belle with her father Maurice. With the local self absorbed hero Gaston. Maurice gets lost in the woods and when Belle finds out she rushes to save him. The Beast takes Maurice in. He refuses to let him go unless Belle takes his place as the Beast’s prisoner. Belle agrees. There the story unfolds...

Belle-FULL gold dress. Crown is optional. Alice Dress as well. Brown Hair.
Maurice-Brown Shirt, Nice Pants. Any Hair. (bald or almost no hair is best)
Gaston-Black Hair, Red Shirt, Brown Shoes, Brown Pants. (You can use red football pants if you have them)
Beast- Brown Pants, Brown Shirt, Brown Skin Tone, Brown Hair. Or Everest Coat, and Pants.
Lumiere-Yellow Pants, Yellow/white shirt. Brown Shoes. Blonde Hair.
Mrs.Pott-Alice Dress. Any shoes. Your Choice Hairstyle.
Cogswarth-Brown Pants, Brown Shirt. Any hairstyle. Light Brown Skin Tone.
Chip-White/Gray Pants. Any hair color/style. Brown Shoes. Purple Shirt or Blue.
LeFou-Red/Brown Pants. Brown Shoes. Dark Red Shirt. Black hair, any style.
Babette the feather duster-Skirt (Black or Blue), Girl Pirate Top. Long Blonde hair.


We will be making mules for your character name. If you don’t have the requirements feel free to borrow from each other or me. I am not responsible for any lost or stolen items. I can be contacted for help on transferring your clothes from your main to the play mule.

Rules and Agreements
1- All Cast must be prepared for many practices, meetings, hours, weeks of devotion.
2- All Crew must be prepared for any meetings, weeks, and time-limits.
3- All Cast and Crew are allowed to be in 2 other plays at the time of this. Not including this.
4- I understand summer’s here and that means vacations. Its fine just give me at least a two day heads-ups.
5-Cast members must always be checking this thread for any updates or important news.
6-All Cast and Crew must create free space in your PM box.
7-All Crew must be familiar with their where-a-bouts while on the set. They must be organized and no horse play.
8-All cast and crew must give me at least an hour heads up if they cant attend any rehearsals. Please note that if you go without two unexcused absences you will be kicked out and given your part to another.


Important Check List
1-Have your Mule Made! Please make it be the title of your character.
2-Please have ALL clothing tranfers from your main player to your mule player ready. I can help with holding things, or what not.
3-Please review the script and know when your lines are-you dont have to memorize them.
4-Please befriend on vmk any players you see that are in the play is possible. *Not Needed If you Cant. We will at rehearsals*
5-Please notify if you have any huge plans in the next week, because we will be having many rehearsals then.

for the beauty and the beast song i have to sing, do i have to sing the whole song or is it going to be cut a little?

Most/almost all of the songs have either been cut or deleted. Yes, I'm sorry, this is a musical but I rather not have it go on for 2 hours. The entire script of the movie was originally 57(!!!) pages. I had to cut everything. Bellezza please tell me if you want this to be a play or a musical.

hmm, i'm thinking about quitting, i like this and all, but i have a couple other plays to be in and since i only have one line in the entire play, I don't think it's worth it for me to go to all the rehearsals and stuff like that.

aww, but i do only have one line and i only have one appearance, so i dont think it would really matter if there was a babette or not.

Well you could make two mules, but I hate to ask to much. You could log on the first one for whatever character appears first. Then do your part, quickly log out and get onto the other. I believe each character only has 1-2 appearences. D'Arqu Im not sure about though.

On Friday of this week I am going to a show, so I won't be available. On Saturday of next week (I believe) I am going on vacation. My parts aren't big, so I think if I miss one or two it won't matter.

i am working next week on tuesday, wed, and fri or sat all 11-4pm it might change and i will let you know. i do know i can do it mon-thursday might from 4:15pm-9:30pm (with a dinner break).

Yes we are I was on Vacation and just got back so I could not schedule. Im ready now but leaving for vacation in two weeks again so during now to then we need to get to work. Ill schedule when most people are on.

Its okay, we've all kind of had a break which is good sometimes. I mean if your stressed with one project for a long time it becomes unbareable. Im glad I had the break from this too. As soon as more people reply Ill schedule the time. =]

OK people i am back from WDW!!! i am read for practice! oh and i won't be on vmk tomorrow form 10am-noon (or later) EST. i may be on during that time but i won't be able to stay on long (i work in my uncles office at his resturant but i can't play computer games but if i have nothing to do i can but i can't let anyone know ;))
