I can tell you right off that they will never add it back again, because the use that people were giving it was completely not VMK appropriate.

Just to be a pain, I think we should suggest that VMK add in Malificent, as it is the incorrect spelling and they have since fixed the pin to be the correct spelling.

As you can tell from the posts on this thread alone, I'd say the majority of children (aka the largest group of players on VMK) have no idea why the word was removed. The vast majority of players in general did not misuse the word (I never saw it being misused, and I've been around since Day 1) and it's a very common and necessary word for every day conversation.

And here's my biggest argument for bringing back "coming". They still have "come" and "comes" in the dictionary. Obviously those words can be used in the same exact context that inspired them to remove "coming", so it makes absolutely no sense for VMK to remove a single version of it. If a player uses any word on VMK inappropriately, there should be consequences, but they should not punish the masses for the sins of a few. It's rather lazy and ineffective.

On a side note, I just finished going through the last couple pages of requests and added all of the words that weren't repeats or a little too out there. Now I just need to edit the list to reflect the words that have been added since my little vacation from the thread. After that, I'll do a better job of keeping on top of things. Promise. :)

Nice suggestions.. although words slike ain't shuoldn't be added as they are encouraging improper engish. Beach- NEVER will be added back, unless vmk decides to start banning the people who misuse the words rather then removing the words. It was used in replacement of a cuss word, and many people would use it excessively.

Ain't is a word, but technically it isn't used for formal writing such a schoolwork, etc.

Arg, no.. I actually saw those and added them, but I had a few different screens up so I could switch back and forth to see what needed to be added and I must have edited those on the other screen, and then saved the wrong one. That means I missed more than just the ones you quoted. *le sigh* I'll go back and get it fixed this evening.

Agreed, but I have seen those words used inappropriately many times. I always report the individuals when I see it happen. I'm just afraid that people would spread it like wildfire and it would be taken out of context a lot. For sure the people that are mis-using words should be punished and not the masses, but VMK doesn't like to operate like that.
