First off, I know what you're thinking: Faithrella is doing this play! Well, she explained top me that is was a bit too much because of school and such, and said I could continue it since I was co-director. I decided too :) So, here I am, making a new thread for it. However, and I know this will be a big disappointment, but I will be re-auditioning. I will NOT need a set-designed, but will still need a co-director.



The following information is included for interested readers:


Peter Pan was originally a stage play by author and playwright James Matthew Barrie. It was later turned into a book in 1911. Walt Disney left a little finger print on the classic tale when he made “Peter Pan”, the animated feature in 1953.

Walt Disney’s story is the story we are going to tell in our version of Peter Pan.* I hope with all my heart that it will grow to be as successful as some of the wonderful theatrical productions going on right now. I am working hard, and as will some of you, to make it the very best it can be. So, may I please ask that you bear with me, for I have a lot of information to present. Thank you very much, and please review these rules of the thread before posting:
• Always follow the VMKF values, like in any other thread. (that basically covers it, but the rest are just reminders.)
• I will ask that you not make “nonsense” posts. Please stay on topic, meaning please do not discuss anything other than this version of Peter Pan.
• Please respect my cast, any fans we may pick up, and me.


I will need a crew, of course. The crew, if some of you do not know, is sort of the people that make a lot of this play happen.

I will need a conformation PM from you, agreeing that you can handle the job. I will need this, and your form (see below) by June 15. Once I get both of those, I will start interviewing. I will ask you various questions. I would like to meet on VMK, however if that is an inconvenience, I will PM you the questions. I will announce these parts once I interview everyone who sent their conformation and form in correctly. And also, you can post your form instead of PMing it, but I still need a conformation PM! (And you only need the form for assistant director :). Just send me the PM to confirm you want the job as backstage assistant.)

Well :) Now that we have our Assistant Director, we will be able to move more quickly. BUT, I still need some Ushers (ONLY BOYS), Ticket Sellers (Which will probably be frenchessica and I), and another backstage assistant (a boy).

Now, of course we need a cast :). If you are in the crew, you cannot be in the cast. If you are in the cast, you cannot be in the crew. Simple? Yes:

By the way, I have decided that the costumes and magic question will not be a huge factor, meaning we can compromise, but here is an idea of what I wanted the characters to look like:

Peter Pan: Short orange hair, Peter Pan hat, light green shirt, dark green shorts, pirate shoes, white skin

Special: When at the Indian party, you must wear a headdress

Wendy: Light brown hair (the hair that has the bangs swept to the side), blue princess dress, black shoes (HM maybe? If not, then the black snow boots), white skin

Michael: Short dirty blonde hair, pink shirt, (if possible) pink shorts, (if not) black shorts, black shoes (HM maybe? If not, then the black snow boots), white skin

John: Short dark brown hair, glasses, plain white shirt, yellow space pants, black shoes (HM maybe? If not, then the black snow boots), white skin

Special: While in bedroom fighting with Michael, wear the Smee hat.

When in the sky, and the rest of the time in Neverland, wear HM top hat.

When back at home after Neverland, no hat.

Mr. Darling: Short dark brown hair, HM suit (with top hat), white skin

Captain Hook: Long black hair, mustache, pirate hat (with bird), boy pirate costume, white skin

Mrs. Darling: Light brown braided hair, pink princess dress (w/o tiara), white skin

Pirate: One with blonde hair (any type), one with brown hair (any type) and a mustache, pirate costume (boy or girl), pirates hat (w/o bird), any skin color, but make it varied, but not pink, blue, green, etc.

Info: Obviously, a girl cannot have a mustache, so if there is a girl, she will have the blonde hair.

Tiger Lily: Black braided hair, Indian Headdress, Indian shirt, cowboy pants (if you have them), (if you don't) brown jeans, cowboy boots, tan skin

Mermaid: Straight blonde hair, tank top, any color of a skirt (or pants), flip flops (match the shirt), white skin

Nana: Brown hair (pigtails), brown shirt, brown shoes, brown pants, brown skin

Smee: Super blonde hair, (if there is one) a super blonde mustache, glasses, Smee hat, Smee shirt, dark blue shorts, black (or brown, I don't know if they have those) flip flops, white skin

Indian Chief: Long black hair, Indian Headdress, Indian shirt, cowboy pants (if you have them), (if you don't) brown jeans, cowboy boots, tan skin

Lost Boy 1: Short, scraggly blonde hair, light brown shirt, dark brown shorts of pants, brown snow boots, any skin color, make it varied from the other lost boy, but not pink, blue, green, etc.


Lost Boy 2: Short, scraggly orange hair, light green shirt, dark green shorts or pants, green space shoes, any skin color, make it varied from the other lost boy, but not pink, blue, green, etc.


Remember, these are just ideas. If you have other ideas as to what costumes could be used, post them! Magic was also mentioned, and I was thinking teleportation magic could be used to make the main characters fly, so keep that in mind and start looking for these items.

I am leaving for vacation, 5 days only. From June 22-26 I will not be on VMK. I might be on VMKF though. You will have your scripts by then, so PLEASE, PLEASE!! practice.

Also, since only one person can play each, I will be adding a few understudies. They will not be for anyone in particular, but in case someone is not there, pull out your script and be ready to be them :).

If you are no happy with the part you got, tell me, and I will take you off and find someone who actually will appreciate that they at least got a part. Okay, that's pretty much all for updates right now :)

I am leaving for vacation, 5 days only. From June 22-26 I will not be on VMK. I might be on VMKF though. You will have your scripts by then, so PLEASE, PLEASE!! practice.

Also, since only one person can play each, I will be adding a few understudies. They will not be for anyone in particular, but in case someone is not there, pull out your script and be ready to be them :).

I just wanted to update that I just watched Peter Pan again, and I was looking at costume ideas, so I changed it a little bit and added some more detail, like skin color, hair color, hair style, etc. I did not change it too drastically, but you might want to take a look at it :)

Okay people, I am at an airport right now, they have free wifi, woot. So, I am just hanging out. My plane might be late. Ugh. Oh well. I am glad to here you are all practicing, and I will be back on, after this, tomorrow. But, I guess I will tell you about my trip. I am not at the airport from where I was so, I can tell you now. I went to Ames, Iowa for my family reunion. Once we got our rental car, and we were on the road, there was a storm, and I don't know, maybe a tornado, there was a tornado warning at least. And then I played Wii, my first time!!, with my uncle and brother, and pretty much anyone we knew who was there already. Then we went to sleep. The next day, the biggest family came to the hotel, woot, they are my favorite. We hung out with them and stuff. And then at like 1:15 we left for the wedding. It was pretty good. We had to walk to the reception, but it was only like 2-3 blocks away at the Shewman Center. My family and the "big family" stayed the longest, along with the bride and groom, and stuff. So, then we had the reunion and we had a lot of fun. I only got one bite from a bug :). So anyways, I am getting onto the plane, or lining up, so bye for now! And, I won five things. One trophy for getting the first Bunco, one for second place playing "31", one for third in darts, and a second place in some game, I don't know what it's called. You like throe eights balls, and it is like two small balls attached by a rope. And you throw them on these bar things.

I also won money because there was a can of money and my cousin and I guessed the same thing, and it was 10 cents away. We were the closest so I got like $7.55, I think. There was $15.10 in the jar

Actually, Ding!, if anyone knows what that is, had some really cheap tickets from where I live, to Albuquerque, to Kansas (Missouri). So, we were there, but it was at least a 3-4 hour drive @_@. But yeah, nasty storms, lots of pausing on the radio, or whatever those thing are called when they tell you stuff that is happening and it interrupts the radio.

But anyways, for practicing, I am going to post a few dates, and if you can come, great, if you can't that's okay... for now.
