Annie:The Musical on VMK Broadway

Introduction:

Annie is an 11-year old orphan girl living in Depression era New York City. The play begins late one April night, when an orphan girl named Molly is jolted awake by dreams of her parents. Annie shows the girl a note her parents left her in one half of a heart shaped locket, which promises that they will one day come get her ("Maybe").

She lives in an orphanage with Miss Hannigan as the orphanage mother. Annie decides to run away, and she meets a sandy colored dog. She persuades the Officer Ward that it’s her dog.

Then, she gets sent back by two police officers without Sandy. Grace Farrell, secretary to billionaire Oliver Warbucks comes and takes Annie away to stay for Christmas at Warbuck’s mansion.

Come join me as we will work our hardest this summer to make this a succession!

Make the Seating Arrangements
Design the set
Provide the tickets
Organize the amount of audience members
Help the Director (me)
