I have seen so many people walking around with inferno.. seems like everybody but me has it.. lol...... i have asked many people where they got it.. some say from the month they gave out 50 of them, some say they got it from yavn when they went to disney..... so ive been wondering.. is it true that yavn really gives out infero in disney parks.. i would think that is not true but i have heard so many people say it that im not sure what to believe these days, if you have inferno.. tell me where you got it here.. thanks!!

I think it's uncommon that Yavn would give out Inferno. However, I don't doubt that he has given a few out. I bet some aren't telling the truth.

But I don't know, maybe it's changed since the last time I was there. ...

Yes, way back when the Host Games were never scheduled and we just "stumbled" upon them. They used to give out the Dancing Inferno magic pin- most games were generators which you had to get a certain combination of numbers-- not the easiest. Then came along various game-wide events which also winners could receive the Dancing Inferno magic pin. Then there were other events which seemed like Inferno was being given out like candy, so they stopped giving it out for a bit of time. Then came along the 50 infernos, which the Host could give each their share out to players. That's the history of Inferno in short terms; Although I have heard stories of Infernos being given out randomly by yavn and yes he has in the past, and I've witnessed it once before.. They dont do announcing this because then Yavn & the staff team would be bugged about getting one, etc.

I got mine by trading way too much stuff for it.

I've actually won 3 of them from host quests (last year). I gave two away and kept one for me. :D

Beta is the second letter of the Greek alphabet (after Alpha). It is used to designate the second stage of testing, when the public is invited to help test the system. The beta period of VMK ended when the game officially opened ("Day One"), on June 27, 2005.

I wonder if they will ever bring back Inferno to Host games. Chip, you must have some good luck! To win 3 Inferno from a Host game? Wow.

I got mine when they had the first halloween in the costume contest. I was the last winner of the night. Traded it for a briar stone( I had just started), now that was a big mistake. Then I got one in the random number generator from a host game. Let my friend hold on to it while I took my vmk break. Another big mistake. So don't feel to bad Tink's Fireworks.

LOL You guys...arguing over the meaning of Beta...rofl! I usually think of the fish, but isn't that spelled Betta?
Anyway, Inferno is everyone's dream...and nobody seems to find it, except for the lucky people...

For example, i bet you tons of people own the narnia pin (sold in game) but it appears uncommon due to:

2. the ones that own it doesn't like it (i mean, those things aren't really the most attractive looking pin now are they?)

Good point. You know, on the Forums, I see lots of people offering to trade (or to trade for) the Mighty Eye, Traveling Stitch, Hong Kong Disneyland, and other supposedly rare pins. Nobody ever offers to trade the Maleficent the Dragon pin! If nobody who has it wants to trade it, that must make it the most valuable pin in VMK! :rolleyes:

I dressed up for that costume contest. My friend copied my costume, got Inferno, then traded it for a really terrible offer. -.-

No, it was the Green Flip hat. My friend did not have Green Flips. I know she is telling the truth, because she never had Inferno before, and still has it, so I know she did not borrow it from someone. (She didn't steal it either lol)

This was before the hat got re-released though, so at least it was still rare. I'm guessing she traded it to a person who got it from staff when they gave 50 of them out, and the person didn't know any better.
