Introduction:
"Arg, turn the boat starboard! All hands on deck!" I shouted at my crew aboard the Flying Dutchman. "Fire starboard!" I yelled. "Move steadily for'ard you bilge rat!" I said to my crewman at the helm. I walked towards the front of my boat. But all of the sudden , three cannonballs landed right by my feet. "Arg!" I whispered. "Thar be a tear in th' mainsail, Capn!" I heard the boy at the helm shout. "There's a leak below deck, I need some help!" I heard another shout. I roared out instructions of attack to my crew. I hurried over to a large cannon and lit the wire. "Boom!" It landed on the enemy's ship and it started to sink. "Victory be ours today!" Cheers were heard from the whole crew.
A pop-up window appeared. 'You have won 331 Credits for winning Ship Battle level 3'. I closed it and then approached the other team. "Good game!" I said proudly. "Arrr! That it was," said an opposing captain. I walked to the Emporium to buy a few more black flip-flops for myself. When I walked over to the cashier to see if the black flips were there, I noticed something very odd. All of the items were gone. "Probably just a bug," I said to myself. I logged off VMK and logged back in again. The items were still gone. "OMG!" I shouted. "Is anyone else having this problem?" Everyone stayed silent. Then everything became quiet. The music in the Emporium stopped. A chill went through my spine. It was quiet. Too quiet.
All of the sudden, the Emporium windows broke open! I ran and ducked under a table. "Run!" I shouted to the others. They didn't move. The glass hit them all and they vanished, one by one. Once everything settled, I got out from under the table. Then I heard a loud humming noise. What's happening?
Chapter 1
I quickly rushed out of the Emporium and found my friend IceMarker in Main Street making a trade. He had barely finished trading when I told him to come to my Guest Room. "Dude, what's up?" He said after he saw the frightend look on my face. "Well, freaky things have been happening to me. First off, all of the items in the Emporium are gone!" He gasped. "Brb, got to check that." Drat! I couldn't let him go in that place alone! I scurried over to the Emporium as fast as I could. I think I arrived too late. Everything in the Emporium was cluttered around. I couldn't even see the floor! The ship in the Emporium had fallen off. The money from the cash register was everywhere! "Wha..." I gasped. IceMarker was crying. "Ice, what happened?"[
Chapter 2
"Well, there was this guy. He ran over to the cash register and..." He sniffled. "He knocked it over and took a few thousand credits, and then he started knocking over stuff. He kicked all of this down, and then all of the sudden he raised his hands up, shouted a few creepy-sounding words, and made that ship fall. Then..." He wiped his eyes and sniffled again. "You know our friend BluefaceKid? He came in here to chat with me, and the guy just walked up and grabbed him and started running! The scary thing was, nobody tried to stop him. Everything except me an' him were frozen. BluefaceKid couldn't move either. You.." He sniffled again. "You remember you told me that happened to you when you came here?" "Yeah. I do." "I feel so ashamed. I let one of my best friends be abducted!" Ice groaned. I stared blankly at him. "What are we doing still standing here? Which way did he go?" Ice pointed towards the exit. We started running, looking around for a guy with someone under him arm. "Aha!" Ice shouted. "Over there!" We ran at full speed at the guy. He ran from us until he reached the Sci-Fi Diner. We had him cornered. "We have you now, theif."
He shuffled backwards a few steps. I grabbed his Sparrow Hat, whick I had just noticed he had hidden behind his back. I started to run with it. No, I wasn't going to steal the hat, I was going to make a deal to get my friend back.
Chapter 3
'Give that back!" He whined. "Give our friend back first," I said slyly. "How do I know that you'll keep up your end of the deal?" He asked. "How should I know that you'll keep yours? He looked at me, defeated. I sent a glance to Ice that I wasn't planning on giving him his hat back. "Here," he said, letting go of BluefaceKid. I grabbed Blueface and started to run. I knew that the thief would follow me. That was all a part of my plan.
I sprinted with Blueface all the way to my Tiki Pirate Trade Room. Ice and Blueface grabbed the culprit. "Gimme back my hat!" He screeched. He tried to break free from my friends' grasp, but was unsuccessful. Once he stopped bickering, I replied, "Only if you can answer a few questions." "Eh, ok." I looked at him mysteriously. "What is your name?" He hesitated. "Xigbar," He said. "Are you the one causing all of this weird stuff to happen?" "Like what?" "Like the freezing of rooms and stuff!" I shouted. "So then who do you work for?" I interrogated. But just then, he broke free of my friends' grasp. He zoomed out of the door to my room. "Shall we go after him?" Blueface asked. "No," I replied, laughing. "We have all we need, well, at least I do," I said as I put of my newly equipped Sparrow Hat. "Take what you can, give nothin' back!"
