I have read that the sequel is coming out in Fall, but I was wondering if anyone knows the plot or name of the book? Please share if you know! I have also heard that Disney is making the first one a movie. I can't wait to see if this is true. Thanks for reading!

I hope they make another one! Ohh and a movie! Coolio. I have read the first one like twice. I kinda felt like they were going to make a new one cause the first kinda ended with a cliffhanger. :-/

I found some interesting quotes from the author's web site, where he answered questions that readers of the first book asked.

Note - in the quotes below, KK means Kingdom Keepers (the first book) and KK2 means the second book.

The second book is now scheduled to be published in the fall of 2008. It will be written by summer of 2007, and then take a year to be published.

Kingdom Keepers, Book Two: The Rise of Chernabog will publish in September of 2008.

Amanda IS keeping secrets. Some of them will be revealed in KK2. (This was in response to a reader's comment that Amanda seemed like she was keeping secrets from Finn in KK.)

VMK was being developed as I wrote KK. I traveled to headquarters and they showed me what they could of it, but it's very different now. The good news is: they've agreed to work closely with me on KK2 -- and we may have some cross-over, where actual rooms mentioned in the novel end up on the site.

I do hope to set a KK book in DisneyLAND, providing the next books does well enough that Disney wants a 3rd book. Which I hope they will.

Wow, what a coincedence! I'm rereading the first one right now as I speak! Can't wait for the Rise of Chernabog!

Oh, YAY!! I can wait! I'm a HUGE KK fan! A VMK friend of mine told me bout it a long time ago, and I was hooked. The only place I could find the book was at WDW. I can't wait for the second! A CM at VMK central in WDW told me that he was done with the second before the first was even published. But I guess he was wrong ;)

I cannot wait!!!! This book was so awesome! Whoever loves the book so much, look at my Kingdom Keepers: The Play Thread because all the spots are open and it'll be fun! :)

We aren't supposed to know what Amanda and Jess/Jez are, correct? At the end of the book, it seemed like we were suppose to figure it out...but I really couldn't figure it out...
