You can get a Desktop Screenmate! Just log into the game,click Screenmates,then choose your character! Simple!

It also 'swims' across all open windows. I have it open at the moment, it's cute, but annoying when writing papers =D But you always have the option to shut them off...

It's like a virtual fish tank.

You don't actually have to play the game, but you do have to download and install it.

You upload the game. Play the game. Click Screenmates at the bottom of the screen *before you play the game. Choose a screenmate. Set the time they appear. Choose actions. Then,you have your own Screenmate! If they go on the VMK Screen,attack of the Underwater Creatures!

Ah yes, I figured it out sometime last night.

They are really cute- I pick the "random" one.

It does get annoying, especially playing a game ^^
