You can also put more Submarine middles together for a longer submarine (but it will still have the fin part sticking out, so you will have more fins) Enjoy!

Look on the bright side, reinstalling is as fast your inhaling and exhaling.

They make great dividers too, because you can't sit in them from the window side. One side for dividing, the other side for sitting.

Just the game, I closed it out of my taskbar, then launched it gain, it did a 1 second update and was find.

There are three parts to the submarine. You have to earn all three codes from the game to get the entire submarine.

Well, ok, technically, that will still only give you half a submarine. You actually have to play the game twice and earn six codes to get a full submarine.

For some odd reason my computer wont let me play it. When I get to the main menu it wont let me do anything.

After you go through the steps of uninstalling the program, go find the installer program again. If you deleted the installer program, you have to re-download it. After that, just reinstall the program and you can play again for 3 more VMK codes. Just repeat this over and over for more codes. I got 6 codes already. :)

I dont know if it's just me but this method does not work with me. I fully close and exit properly out of the program and all my codes from each level stays there, and it even says: "Updating.."

I play the first level, take pics of all 8 of them, click get codes and nothing shows up. If I say play again it puts me back at level 1. :confused: Any advice?

I like the submarine but it doesn't look much like one. Oh well, I hope I can play this soon.

I played the game last night before bed to get three codes. I just played again a few minutes ago and finally was able to log into VMK to try out my six new codes.

Both my Medium codes gave me the 2/5 Pin, so I have no Middle sections at this time. I'll have to keep playing, I guess. Here's my thoughts on this game:

Pros:
- Neat Pin. I really like it and look forward to the other four pins. I like the pin better than the sub even. Heh.
- Finding Nemo Submarine furniture. Nifty.
- Easy to play game.

Cons:
- It's just plain dumbo for a game with random prizes to not reset the codes. Of course people are going to play it more than once. They must! To require the game be uninstalled/reinstalled is STUPID! There's no nice way to say that. Shame on Disney, VMK, and OTOLabs for releasing such a product. Everytime I uninstall the progam I check the "I am dissatisfied with this application" box. :headache: Take that! Heh.
- This Finding Nemo game is very boring. I suppose that makes it easy for little kids though (?) so I'll let the boredom factor go.
- While I know VMK doesn't allow one to paste codes from the clipboard, I generally like to put my codes into Notepad since they are often harvested off-hours. I've been unable to copy the codes from this game. That means I have to type them twice. Not only an inconvenience but it increases the risk that I make a type-o and lose the code.

Othe Notes:
- The Front and Back Sub pieces sell for 10 credits each (I don't have any middles).
- The 2/5 Pin sells for 50 credits.

I've played twice; first time all submarine parts, second time the pin.

Uh..from hearing what can happen if you mess up the registry (believe me, it is very bad. It will mess up your computer ;) ), I would suggest just uninstalling and re-installing the program. It's easier. :)

Played twice and have gotten two pins (rather have the pin LOL although I will have to play more to get sub parts for the kids).

I'm not mad at them for making this game ridiculously easy (I think sometimes we forget that VMK was primarily for the kids) but I do think it's silly that nobody thought to provide a way of getting new codes without reinstalling. Poor planning. And what's with there being no sound? I was all set for some exciting underwater adventure noises/music, and the only audible thing we get is the sterile click of a camera.

In any case, it looks like every Medium code is currently giving out the pin. Maybe we should take advantage of it while we can, especially for those of us who try to collect 15 of every pin, but I'd start holding onto those middle pieces. At this rate, they might end up being the rarer of the two items..

Whereas I would strongly recommend most people not editting the registry, that works awesome. Even though it only saves like 30 seconds from uninstall and re-install, that is wicked cool. :)

As of right now, only the 2 of 5 pin is being given out through the Finding Nemo game. The other 4 pins in the series will probably be released in other ways, or will be made available later.

Right now it would appear that there is not a way to get middle parts.. all Medium level codes are giving the pin. Guess we'll just have to wait until they fix the inconsistent number of windows and then release the proper version to Neoteny's delight.

For all you having the no code problem, uninstall then reinstall the game.

how do u get middle pieces?

It seems that you can't at the moment.

For all you having the no code problem, uninstall then reinstall the game.

Make sure that it is allowed by your firewall

Everytime I uninstall the progam I check the "I am dissatisfied with this application" box.
I've been doing that, too, and I will continue to do so until they allow me to play the game again without reinstalling the software.

This happened with Everest when it first came out. Gave pins instead of chairs. Also, just recently the red space suit code was giving the Ace of Carpets. I recommend sitting on your middle codes (unless you want the pin) until their web folks can fix it.

There is a very quick way to uninstall without messing with your PC. Just go the wrench icon (right next to the x) in the upper right corner of the Nemo window. There is an uninstall button near the bottom. Deletes much faster than messing with the PC control panel.

Could be that the middle part is random or the pin is random but either way it only seems to be giving pins at the moment. Sit tight, I am sure that the computer gurus will have it fixed!

When I was getting my codes earlier today (1PM EST) I had no problem getting middle pieces. It must be a glitch

The Submarine parts themselves are currently tradeable so trading the codes will NOT be allowed. Note that this is a FREE game and it is fairly easy to complete all the levels of the game. Please be aware that these items are fairly easy to get and to avoid unreasonable offers involving the submarine parts.

This game is not easy for me, I was throwing fits at how fast some of the characters were passing by. I hate Bloat! And Marlin.

For the moment, they're keeping the parts tradeable--
Like the Everest cars/mountains, but not like the POTC galleon parts or Davey Jones chests, since everyone can already play the ship game by themselves.
(They don't like players to "cheat" on the accessible Flash games.)

It's easier just to find someone trading parts (I'm looking too! :wave2: ) but...that's assuming you can find someone with a whole set to spare, this early on.

That is the picture that Neoteny took of the error. My idea is that the pins are placed in the second prize slot until they fix the middle piece of having the wrong amount of port holes.

The Finding Nemo game is not giving me the submarine middle piece, instead a pin. I have now 7 pins!

No more middle part for me either all I get is the pin.

Maybe the prizes are awarded by time. Maybe the other four pins are in the game but no one has hit the correct time.

Uninstall doesn't really uninstall the program, just the communication part. When downloading, try clicking 'OPEN' instead of "SAVE". Let us know if this works.

Ahh, i see. The best reply in this thread was there is an error to the middle parts of the sub. Until tomarrow, or even later, we will see when the spawn again.

Not at all rare. It was given with every level two code since yesterday morning.

If they fix it soon, and everyone just happens to lose the pin they got the day before, would it be like the narnia porter or sparrow?

I hope the bugged ones stay bugged because it looks cool and many people never knew a bud existed. I love the pin and hope we keep that too!

Anyone find the irony in the fact that on Sunday Disneyland said they no longer want to give out VMK cards or do anything with VMK, then by Wednesday they have a new DISNEYLAND Nemo game which you can only get from the DISNEYLAND website which gives you codes to VMK?

Thank you, I've now got enough Yeti rooms for a whole ride--and even a few extras that weren't a problem for Macs--but I'm still hoping to see subs get out there someday to those who need them... )

You would think it wouldnt take long to clean up the subs middles. Or perhaps the middles were ment to be given out only during the first day. Maybe it will switch up on us, such as the backs will be pins, and another day it will be fronts. I just hope it does give middles, because I want several sets for trading.

Again, don't take my word as truth, just reporting the news... even the news is wrong sometimes. Just a reminder, VMK has not even announced the game officially so whatever we are doing is still testing the waters. Maybe once they anounce the game, they will have a fix ready and more will be up and running?

Jeez, read like to pages ahead of this and you get your answer, lol. There was a bug and they are trying to fix it so instead of middle pieces they have to give out the pins right now.

Crazy, yes I got all 8 of them. The codes just don't show up when I click get codes and I can't get to a higher level. As for my computer with Vista, I get some error message having to do with Windows so I'm guessing it's not Vista compatible? :confused:

Hey, I had the same problem yesterday with compatibiity as my laptop has Vistas. I could not even get the game to play. Today I was able to get the game to play but no codes. Its seems as if there might be patches slowly coming out so I would keep trying to play it. :)

Anyone have a date when the game is supposed to let out to the public and / or made for VMK members to play? This month is basically a swimmers month, so neo would be a nice addition.

Is anyone else wondering if VMK didn't have the rights to use Nemo's likeness on the 2 of 5 pin? I can't think of any other reason why they would leave it an orange, fish-shaped blob with question marks around it, as opposed to giving it the proper detail.

Maybe we'll have to wait and see what the other 4 pins look like.. :nemo:

For anyone that can play the game but is not receiving codes, try closing the nemo icon in your toolbar then relaunch the game. I've had this happen you should be seeing the word updating when you relaunch the game. Playing it so many times lol I have noticed this, hope that helps anybody.

I don't think that makes much sense.

Why would they do a ride-a-thon for Submarine Voyage parts, most of which you get from an outside mini-game, during Water Park Month?

It makes a bit more sense that the middle bits were pulled because of the whole 2 outer/3 inner porthole error thing.

You can't win the submarine middle piece. It was taken away a couple hours after the game went live.

A Contact Us reply was posted on the forums today with the reason why the middle pieces are gone.

I think the staff have allowed people to keep them. I currently have 2 middle pieces.

Wait just a second. Did that reply tell us the refer to the newsletter? In that case, the world may never know how to get the middle pieces. We have not have a newsletter in weeks.

Okay. I know this is going to be contrary to most people's ideas, but here is my theory of where middle pieces may possibly come from: VMK rewards card

Yes, I know that at first this may sound crazy, but here is how I got to that thought:
- the game that we get the other pieces from gives out one set of codes (for most), possibly meaning that it's only meant to be played one time; and the only way to get more pieces is to uninstall then re-install the game
- the middle piece (according to the previously posted letter) is not meant to be given through the game
- it would be a good promotional tool for Disneyland (bring even more people (aka $) to the parks to crowd onto the new ride)
- ride-a-thon seems iffy to me because it isn't really connected to this month's waterpark theme (yeah, I know - when has that ever stopped them), and would everybody really want that many middle pieces? (and yes, I know some of you would ;) )

Still sound as crazy?...
