It was released May 23, 2005, and retired July 30, 2005. It was re-released again in November 2006 and is currently still buyable.

Well, according to the Wiki (http://www.disneysonlineworlds.com/index.php/Couches), this couch was available when VMK first opened and later retired on July 30, 2005. However, it was brought back for Tron Month on November 1, 2006. It is currently in the Inner-Space Shop.

I can't find it on the Wiki, but I believe this was also a quest prize at one point between the beta days and the Space Mountain Month rerelease.

yes it was a quest prize. i forget when exactly but i believe some time around may of 2006?

It was the quest right after the pink slipper quest.
