This is exactly what I was thinking. I was looking forward to the striped stockings. I still am but would rather have had them with something else instead of attached to the pirates trousers

Was it just a host outfit maybe? I thought I saw it too but I'm happy with the vest. It was the stripes I wanted anyway on the trousers :)

I don't know about you Neoteny, but I always cut the tops of my shoes off and then sew them onto the bottom of my pants. That way I do not have to worry about matching shoes to outfits. It is kind of like Garanimals for adults.
Either way, the pirate boots will make either nice wrestling shoes or nice moccasins to go with the Native American costume.

I think the second picture Neoteny posted look like colonist or clown pants. Odd combination, huh? Savvy?

Actually, the crown was silver and for some reason it turned blue. A lot of unhappy ppl, me included. It was that way for awhile and then they turned back to silver after a few months. Everyone sighed a sigh of relief. Angel Fancy:wave2:

Ha! Never noticed that. (But then again, I'm a girl, I don't wear those pants.. :D) But those pants would also look weird if someone wanted to wear, say, flip flops with the pants. Half boot, half sandal. @_@

Has anyone else noticed that the 'Type' for the new boy pirate costume actually shows up as 'Unisex Clothing' rather than Male or Female clothing? Although if you look at the green superhero outfit, it is listed as Male Clothing. Looks like they haven't quite worked out the kinks in the new trade window display. ;)

As far as I know, that can't be done. From what I understand, the figures used in VMK are divided into four zones. Feet, Legs, Torso, Head. The costumes are "smart propped" to the zones. This is also why masks and hats can't be worn at the same time unless they're part of the same prop.
