Never. It's an earned item. Just like the BGR pin should NOT be tradeable.

I wish that none of the magic was tradable. I would have two infernos right now if I could not trade them. Everytime I get something I always end up trading it, and regretting it later.

In my opinion, I'd never ever trade it for all the magic carpets on VMK(I really mean it!). Just having the community leader badge gives me self-esteem. It's good to know you were picked to help others on this ever-growing, ever-changing virtual game. Just the mere thought of knowing you took a few months(or less, or more!) to earn the community leader badge. In my opinion, nothing is equivalent to the community leader badge(although, anyone is free to disagree with me). It's so awesome to think you were chosen to help others on a virtual game. People look up to you, and know they can trust you. I wont get into the discussion on unruly/unfair CL's, just say that despite some sort of bad community leaders, the community leader badge is earned, and, in my opinion, can never be replaced.

If CL badge was tradable i would trade it for 5 pairs of green flips 5 Infernos HM code VIP code And 5 sets of each quest items, including the insider pins, best guest room pin, and like 10 of each retro pin and Hong Kong pins. That basicly I would not trade it.

Am I the only one who has absolutely no interest in being a CL, nor wanting of the badge?

I'm always willing to help people in the game, anytime I'm asked a question or see someone needing help. I'm basically doing the job of a CL, I just don't feel the need of a title.

I wouldn't trade my CL badge...although it's my "Scarlet Letter" of total VMK obsession (I was one of the first CL's named) I enjoy having it. Yet, I constantly remind myself that it really is nothing special in the long run. I haven't had any exciting things come from it (other than friend requests and trade requests, oh boy!) and it's a bother to type in "CL_" before my name. (although FlyThenFall by itself is dictionary approved).

Then again...a genie with three real life wishes could make me reconsider. (And that's sarcasm, ;))

I have to agree with shorts and Becky, specially with what Becky added. Having the badge in my profile inspires me(True, don't look at me like if I were weird), every so often I click at my dude and admire the Badge with the sorcerer hat in it, very nice! I simply love it, and as shorts said, it would be just as the BGR Pin. The things I get because of my effort, I would hardly ever trade them!

If the CL badge was tradeable........Disney would have a very big Problem on there hands. :lol:

if i was a CL, i wouldn't ever trade my badge, because i agree with Shorts, Becky and Kair, it would give me pride. I know it would because people who have CL in front of there name are responsible players who are willing to help out other players in the game. Or, most of the CL's are LOL

Yes, I didn't mean to stir up any arguments. Some people are just finished with being a CL. If the people are rich enough, they probably could be a fine CL. If not, then they would just get banned or something and lose the title anyways.

to have your CL badge taken away, simply use "contact us" on the main VMK site, and click "feed back on a CL"...then tell them you want to resign your post.

They will take you from the CL list.


That information is posted on the 'welcome to the CL status' email you get upon becoming leader.

im not a community leader but if i did and you could i would. . . i mean. . why waste time just playing this game and helping people play a game whne you could be doin gdo many better things like helping people who really need it

Actually I know of one girl specifically who HAS been banned and has NOT had the ban reversed (that I'm aware of) who got CL anyway.

The only question with the tradeable idea of the CL badge is... would you lose the "CL_" prefix in your name when you traded your badge away? That's the ultimate question in "what would happen if the CL pin was tradeable", ya know?

CLs are always in danger, and people keep being asked for their CL badges from guests. Sometimes I wouldn't want to be a CL, but other times I am really wanting to help people answer their questions and so forth.

I just think that CL_MiniParis rings a bell, don't ya think?

CL's have a habit of bragging etc. about themselves.

Some CL's are great and deserve their title but unfortunately I can count how many.

CL's should not be VMK addicts that are mega rich because it is not a good thing to tell ppl play VMK all day.
