View Full Version : Our Hero's In Our Life That Helped Us Make Good Decisions
Azure 09-24-2005, 03:13 AM Ok, now I know that this is going to sound and seem kind of weird but in a very good way my parents are the people that I look up to in life. For help, love and also to tell secrets. My parents love me as I do love them. The only sad part is that they will not be around for ever so I will be all alone without them to help me guide my life. My dad's life however is cut even shorter due to the brain tumor that they found in his head. But no matter where he is he and my mom will always be in my heart and in my faith. No matter what my parents always tell me this.. my dad tells me the most.... " When i'm gone I will be waiting for you so I can share my after life with you forever and always" wow starting to cry now. :( :bawling:
Who do you look up to?
MissAmber 09-24-2005, 03:14 AM Ooooh that is so sad :'( Made a tear go down my face!
I look up to my mom and dad, they do everything for me, and made me who I am today. Without them, I wouldn't be anywhere...anyone...
Kaironzet 09-24-2005, 03:14 AM I also look up to my parents :) They are always right for me :)
Azure 09-24-2005, 03:16 AM Well no matter what happens in life I will always love them the most
Miss MeowsALot 09-24-2005, 03:16 AM My Parents. They are always making sure I do the right thing and everyday they teach me new things. My mom (Most of all) i talk to. I can tell her anything. She will understand (Sometimes ;)) My dad teachs or is trying to teach me to ignore people when they get in my face at school. People do that alot to me. My dad and mom are the to people I look up to. I love them so much and even if I say I hate them in side I could never hate them.

Azure 09-24-2005, 03:18 AM It makes me cry when I say I hate them because I know how much it hurts them. I can never make a mistake because i know i can't let them down
mackegirl 09-24-2005, 03:18 AM Wow that is sad I am so sorry I have lost many people close to me in my life and I am still very young I am so sorry! My whole family rocks and I owe everything all to them!
Azure 09-24-2005, 03:19 AM I mean you know it just makes you think twice in life
Minay 09-24-2005, 03:20 AM There are many people that get me through the struggle of everyday life. My parents have a good bit in my life, but friends do also. I have friends in rl that are my closest friends, and are the best. I also have friends on VMK that help me through some problems. I am not naming the people I like the most, cause that's favoratism. But, you people know who you are.
Always trust your parents and friends is the moral of this story.

I have never said "Mom/Dad I hate you so much!" No I would never because thats a lie and it would hurt them so much. If I am mad at them I just walk away and say it to myself. then after while I don't care anymore.

GymnasticsGirl 09-24-2005, 03:29 AM I look up to my mom and my 16 y/o cousin. She doesn't really like me that much cuz we are 3 years apart, but my mom says that when we are older we will be really close. I hope she is right because my cousin is like a older sister to me! And I love my mom sooo much because me and my dad kind of have problems so... :(

FlyThenFall 09-24-2005, 06:23 AM I'll take a different approach to this...and seeing as nearly everyone says "I look up to my parents" for these things (which I do ;)) I'm going to have to go with my elementary school band teacher. He probably was one of my greatest sources of inspiration to my musical career. He started me on the clarinet...and constantly mentored me (along with my private teacher) and pushed me beyond what I thought I could do. Anyways, he got me from being the worst clarinetist in my class to 5th chair in the district-wide honor band (I live in a big metropolitan area) in about 3 months. ;)
Ironically enough...the after teaching at my school he got a job at a High School Conservatory for the Arts as the head of the Instrumental Music Department. And now he's my teacher now...and is still bringing me to bigger and better things in my musical life. Gotten me jobs with the local community college, referred me as a private teacher, and is now working to get me hired as a student conductor for our local professional symphony. All in all...he helped me make one of the most infulential choices of my life: to play the clarinet.
