I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else. I turned in the HSM quest, Animation quest and the new Tomorrowland quest today at DLR and didn't receive the TV. The CM told me that the computer didn't say I got it so he couldn't give it to me. He said sometimes you need 4 quests and sometimes 3. Any advice?

If you used a Annual Pass, just go do the POTC Quest and it should show up as your fourth quest and give you the card. If you used a ticket, see if you can go back and bring that ticket with you and have them scan that with the POTC quest.

Can this be done on a different day though?

We had the same thing happen to us at Disneyland on Saturday. He said the computer wouldn't let him give us the TV even though we turned in 4 quests. -sigh-

Wow, even 4 quests didn't work. That is so frustrating. His comment to me was something along the lines of the guy in charge of VMK can't get it to work and they, meaning the CM's, have to listen to everyone complain. What I don't understand is why they have to listen to the computer. If the rules are you get the card when you turn in 3 quests, they should just be able to hand them out.

See.low, did you complain to any supervisor at VMK central? If you turn in 4 quests (HSM, animation, new tomorrowland and new pirate - correct?) you should have gotten the tv card since that is the only 4 quests we can turn in.

Did you get free fastpasses for 2 rides as free gift still??

Just wondering...i feel yours and surfergirlkelly's frustration!! my friends ran into same problem doing 3 quests...no fastpasses!

this happened to me today and apparently its not ringing up for some people but we went back later and explained what happened and they gave us the cards

For some reason the previous quests we had completed were not showing up. We did one two weeks ago and it wasn't there!! And they kept telling us it was four and not three quests to get the rewards card. We had to do the quests all over again in order to get the TV. And now itis only 60 days in between and not 90 to do quests again!

I tried this yesterday as well. I turned in the 4 quests, and they handed me those cards. I asked about the TV, and they said I had to turn in 3 quests to get it. I looked straight at them, and said "Isn't 4 at least 3?" The Cast Member looked puzzled for a bit, then handed me the TV. ;-)

Just demand it. Whether the computer says you get it or not, you get it!

I had 6 people in my party yesterday. 4 had APs and 2 had regular admission tickets. We did only tomorrowland and HSM quest. The guy said he would only give the APs the TVs. Didn't ask why...

It is a shame that the staff would depend on a computer to tell them what to do. I would hope that if your job is to provide VMK prizes you should be fully aware of the rules in how to give them and not depend on techology.

Sorry my two cents.

VMK customer service is getting even worse. :(

wow i agree with all of you if you did the 3 quests then you should get the prize for it not because some computer said you didn't

We were told that the computer wouldn't even show us what or how many quests we had done with our AP pass.

I just got back from DL and turned in the HSM, Pirates, Animation and Tomorrowland quests, the CM handed us our prize cards (minus the Animation prize cards because it had been less than 90 days since the last time we turned that quest in) including the TV and 2 fast passes.

Did you get a TV for each member of your party? Did you need to have separate quests, or only separate tickets?

Except that then they'll say that you haven't waited your sixty days.

Each person in our party received a TV, we did not have to have seperate quests per person, but each person had to have a valid entry ticket to DL for that day.

Yikes! This sounds like it's going to be a pain in the rear. I hope it's just a glitch and they fix it quick like....before we go back again ;)
