The Burn

It keeps shining and I feel like dying
The burn I feel
When you shine
Makes me feel like I'm in a bind
Every since that day
I feel the burn.
Like pins poking on my heart
Yeah people think I'm a ghost
I keep bouncing off walls
And the walls think I'm their new host.
Whenever you're near I feel this burn
Your face turns into the moon
And it burns through me.
Maybe that's why I hide in dark
To escape you and the sun
Yeah the burn, the burn.
Some doctors say it's depression
Yeah, the burn, the burn.
You are inescapable
Like my heart beating
And my lungs breathing
I wonder if you feel what I feel
The burn,

There's a giant hand above us
And I wonder if that hand went away
If the burn would go away.
