View Full Version : Quests can now be redeemed every 60 days!
greenhpper 05-06-2007, 02:47 AM In-Park Quests can now be redeemed every 60 days instead of 90. I have not seen this posted anywhere so I thought I would share. They apparently just changed it in the last few weeks. Can be confirmed on the bottom of the new TL Quest as well as on the new in-park pirate quest. :D
ParamoreGal 05-06-2007, 02:49 AM Reedeemed? You mean you can enter it twice...

You can turn the same quests in at the parks every 60 days instead of every 90. For example; I turned in every quest today using my annual pass. In 60 days from today, I can turn all the quests in again for another set of prizes if I want. Before, I would have had to wait 90 days.
puchisana 05-06-2007, 03:19 AM how they know if u have done them or not?

ParamoreGal 05-06-2007, 03:32 AM Kewl, to bad I go every year only ;)
Neoteny 05-06-2007, 03:33 AM That's great news! I thought we'd be limited to one of each Mickey card, but now we'll be able to get a second!
Caterpillar AEIOU 05-06-2007, 03:38 AM SWEET!

Schmoofy 05-06-2007, 03:42 AM New in-park pirate quest? Is this the same quest that gives the well chairs and Caribbean Town Square guest room, or something brand new?
Neoteny 05-06-2007, 03:46 AM New in-park pirate quest? Is this the same quest that gives the well chairs and Caribbean Town Square guest room, or something brand new?
It's the same quest, except that it only gives the Town Square room. The Wells are all gone.

It's both kinda. Prize is only the Fortress room. Wells are now retired. The new Quest card has more questions and for WDW all the questions except for one got changed.
puchisana 05-06-2007, 03:54 AM anwer this:
how they know if u have done them or not?
surfergirlkelly 05-06-2007, 04:12 AM When you turn in your quests they scan your ticket or annual pass. I assume this is how they keep track of when you have turned them in.

Thark 05-06-2007, 04:47 AM Yeah, my WDW Passholder Pass feels so lonely up north..only a couple more weeks..
Pixie_Jess 05-06-2007, 04:54 AM But if your like me and you get one day passes, you can pretty much do it as many times as you wish (the quests i mean) but even then i dont get to go all the time ^_^ Pixie_Jess
GoofyGeggy 05-06-2007, 05:05 AM It's about time they do something about that.
Of course - it's never affected me since I can only go during the Summers. ;)
At least we'll get more of the Mickey TVs and Red Space Suit Magic Pins for the game now!

That really won't matter since it's not tradeable. :dry8:

More Ace of Spades carpets, you mean, right?

Which is exactly what Disney is after in the first place. After all, one-day passes cost much more in the long run than annual passes. Sure, you get more virtual stuff, but they get more real money. They still win that game ;-)

I'm not so sure I agree, with the annual passes you need to visit at least 8 times to break even. With the 90 day rule, we were only going once a quarter for a long weekend and staying off property but spending loads on food and "trinkets" in park as the passes were already a sunk cost. Now with the 60 day rule will be inclined to go more often and therefore spend more. When I used to buy single day passes I tended to buy less in park due to the pinch of buying that ticket. :D Either way, I am quite excited about the 60 days, but not for the HSM or Pirates stuff. I heart that AK lodge room.

You only went for VMK? You're missing out. They have rides there too, y'know ;-)
dumbfounded 05-07-2007, 10:09 PM There are rides there? I never knew that... I only ever went for the pins and VMK...
Still haven't been on a ride in over 4 months...

Believe it or not, the kids are tired of going, lol. Now that it's warm enough we'll go to the water parks more which will help and maybe get (dare I say it) Universal Passes (shhh).
Oh, and from what I understand, it's ALL Quests that are 60 days now, not just the TL and Mickey reward card. :D
Neoteny 05-08-2007, 04:45 AM ...Universal Passes...

I just couldn't get Universal Passes. I've been there three times and there just isn't enough to do in the Park. It might seem more reasonable though if the AP prices for Universal are cheap (I'm not sure what they cost now). Although, having to spend more money for more gas would kill me.
By the way, I don't have an AP to Disneyland either, or any passes to any park for that matter.
greenpixiegirl 05-08-2007, 05:45 AM 60 days?!?!?!? Woot!!!!!!!!!! I love it!!!!!!!!!
