The way I understood Yavn's column is that the Red Magic would be in-park and all the current Tomorrowland quests would be "remixed" so to speak. Maybe I'm wrong, but, eh, who knows for sure!?!

The red space suit magic is going to be from the new in-park Tomorrowland quest coming... ???. I don't think there will be a Green Space Suit Magic just yet, because the in-game tomorrowland quests are said to keep the same prizes, but re-mix the quests to something new. This is so we can get 2* Tomorrowland in-game Quest Magic(s).

I noticed that the printout for the quest was on the VMK site. Has anyone gotten this? Is it tradeable? And what does it look like when you use it? If this has been posted before sorry I didn't see it.

Just came out today. One would have had to print the quest, go to the park, complete all the answers, redeem it for the card, and type in the code, all for you to have seen it by now.

They'll be showing up soon in the game, I'm sure.

i just got back from WDW with 4 inner space suit cards and when I entered the codes, all 4 gave me Ace of Spades carpets for a prize :( Has this happened to anyone else? DO you think VMK will award the suit without me having to go back to the park to exchange the cards?

It has been reported in other threads that the same thing has happened to many if not all of the other people who redeemed the codes. Best suggestion is to contact vmk, because if most of the codes are wrong, VMK Central can't really do anything about it.

At least we know the Ace of Spades carpets are tradeable! :)

Just email Contact Us saying you put in a Red Space Suit magic code and it gave you a Ace of Spades carpet instead. They will most likely email you back asking for more information to find out what the code is supposed to give. Give them the information and hopefully they'll exchange the carpet for the space suit magic you were supposed to get. :)

It sits on the floor of your guest room just like all the other Ace of Spades carpets.

I'm guessing it works the same way as the blue space magic, except for the color. It's a way of getting to the Inner-Space Shop without having to do the in-game quest.

Just a quick note to say VMK is slowly fixing the problems with the codes. If you sent a message through contact us, after two days check your inventory.

That just bites! Lots of people just plain 'ol live too far away from the parks and can't afford to go. They get thier quest items by trading. Penalizing them because of geography and not being able to afford the trip is so unfair! Guess they want to encourage the scalpers on a certain notorious auction site.

Tell me, why is it un-tradeable, yeah.. I know VMK want us to go to the parks. But seriously.. would we go to the parks JUST for VMK? Plus.. Making their guests and players happy should be more important than they money they get. Which I feel is like that in the parks! :)

It was, but I doubt that there would be an increase in attendance by making the pin non tradable. People that go to the parks for VMK will go regardless of whether an item is tradable, they have proven this since the quests started in the summer of 2005. If people can't go to Disney they can't go. All this will do is increase sales on that auction website we all know and love, because it's cheaper to buy the card there than go to Disney. Disney won't see a dime from the middleman (unless they themselves are selling the cards) so they really don't benefit from this.

Your welcome, I wish I could offer more to everyone in this situation than aknowledgement of how you feel. All I can say is I'm sorry VMK has this big downside for players who can't get to the parks or who are penalized by being outside the USA.

I am wondering if maybe something about how the original Inner Space Magic was created in the game makes it impossible to make the New Red version tradable?

I have a question about the magic. I have some, but haven't combined any yet. I have heard that this magic is like snowman magic in that combining just makes it recharge faster rather than last longer. Can anyone confirm/deny this based on their own personal experience? TIA
