Just curious, does anyone know if the magic pins are going to be used for something else in the game other than just for players to walk around and say "look what I can do?" Do you win something special after achieving a certain amount of magic pins?

I think it would kind of boring to use the pins for something else. It would change the whole meaning of them. Disney is about "Magic" not trading in your magic for something else. But yea that is a good idea of yours.

I'm thinking that's all they do. At least they look cool!

that is pretty much the extent of it, and that they are hard to get, othe than that they do nothing.

Oh, okay thanks.

I know magic is apart of some of the Disney stories, but there are many things about Disney that have nothing to do with magic. And anyways magic "spells" are usually used by evil characters which I am not. :)

For me Disney is about innocent family fun, a place to use your imagination and escape from the real world, not magic, so I'm not collecting the magic stuff. And since I'm not collecting the magic, I'm glad to hear that they are not something we "have" to have to continue enjoying VMK.

Do you win something special after achieving a certain amount of magic pins? The pins are the rewards. You get them for beating games, scores, or putting money into Disney's pockets. Doesn't make much sense to reward someone for the reward.

When I first started playing I expected the "magic" pins to provide magic (i.e. when using invisibility and in "ghost" form, you would see secret passages or access doors that would have treasure chests as one does in more traditional role playing games). Or if you have one you go to the corresonding circle in the Spell Room and get taken to a hidden room.

The effects are very cool but I think it is a bit of misnomer to call them "magic" pins.
