:wave2: Okay, You know when in fantasyland courtyard with a friend and you got an urge to ride with them? The should make rides for two people so there is too lines side by side when you enter then during it you don't and won't get separated because one person would be behind the other, it would make it more fun. I am tired of getting lost with friends. What do you think of my idea? Should I send it in? :wave2:

Thanks, Willow :pirate:

I don't. I really don't care if you are riding, it means more lag and there is no way to know that. It wouldn't work.

How wouldn't it work?

Yeah, I've been thinking they should make rides like in the real parks, where you ride in front and someone rides in back.

i am going to have to agree with penguinz. i think this would only cause more lag, since there would be more people in the room, and who knows how much that would cause, considering how much lag is already present in the rides. sorry. =[

or better yet.. there's two carts attached to each other or each ride seats two... kind of like the yeti vision chair things

VanillaWillow

I like it, but it's not that big of a deal being on rides with your friends. I mean its quick, and youll most likley end up in at least 1 room together.

It's fun though :D

No actually the same amount of people

Since each room can only hold 15 people (normal rooms, not sure about ride rooms) each room would have to hold 30 people. Lag= Crash and BOOM.

No, because there would only be 7 or 8 sets.

I don'y really think it would work either. Same reason. LAG!!!

VanillaWillow

It would still be the same amount of people!

Vanilla, that wouldn't work either.

2 doesn't go into 15 evenly does it?

I use SingleRider at DCA, so I don't usually ride side by side with someone I know. It would be cool for other people though. I don't really care much, no offense of course.

The concept is good in theory but I see a small problem. When I ride the rides with friends as they are currently set up, sometimes it takes my computer/connection longer to load the room than my riding partner. Sometimes it's faster and I am way ahead of them in the room.
If we are all loading rooms at different speeds, that might cause some conflict with two seater vehicles.

Yeah, I get your point :D

I think she is thinking you can do 7 sets.. making 14. I think it's a good idea but don't see problems with lag but rather how long it takes you for the room to load vs. how long it takes your friend. It really depends on the speed of your computer and theirs.

I really like the idea!

You could have a single rider option at the gate, and a double option.

It would have to work almost like the Pirates game where you get your party together, then click go.

Yes I can see there being a lag for the group riders, but not for the single riders the group would have to wait for all of their parties to be together just like in pirates or ghosts. This would make the screen a lot more complicated though. You would almost need to have Alice and Peter Pan in two separate rooms because of the group information needed at the bottom. You could do duel scrolling screens I guess; accommodating 2 groups per side. I could do a mock up if you like...

The single riders go in the current entrance, while group riders go in through the pirate-like interface at the bottom of the screen (up to four, or two only?).

I also have a question about the two rider part. Are they side by side, or front to back? One of the ride teams I was on did a double track through out the ride, but turns caused problems for people staying together side by side. I suppose a single track could accommodate a double car for all riders. Some would just have single riders in them. With the room maximum at 15 you would be required to have some single riders, or drop down to 14 per room. Seriously, do you really think you’ll not have some or mostly single riders?

Like I said I like the idea, and it would make the experience more fun. It would be great to do more things with your friends, but does require a lot more effort and thought from those great folks at VMK.

They already have the double rider feature on the Space Mountain ride that goes from the Tomorrowland Hub to the Space Mountain Quest Deck. If they use the same feature from Pirates and Mansion that allows everyone to start each game at the same time, why wouldn't this work?

Sounds like it could to me, but their will be a potential for delays due to machine and connection speeds.

No, after 15 people get in, it could say: oops! This room is currently full please wait.
