Donald Duck is my true favorite Disney character, but I can't really show it on VMK. This is because there are only two tributes to Donald on there.

1)Donald can be seen passing by a window in Central Square

2)The 2006 New Year's Pin has Donald on it.

This is why I am mad.

Lets face it, Disney Characters besides mickey and minnie need some places in vmk.
In fact, I think VMK should be more Disney Character related too.
I mean I love the fact its very similar to the Magic Kingdom, but the real magic kingdom has a lot of Disney characters in it..which vmk lacks.

I also like winnie the pooh..

I think they need to have a disney classics month.
Bring back all the great disney classic characters.

I like Daisy and Minnie! :) Maybe they could even add a new land-Character Land, or something catchy. It could have tributes to all famous,"old time" characters. Such as, Winnie the Pooh, Donald Duck, Pluto, etc. I'd like to see that happen! :)

Pluto is in: pluto hat.

Daisy: is with donald in the window sometimes, just on day per month.
Minnie: minnie hat

Minnie has Princess Minnie Hat. I still think the new Character Land is a good idea still!

Something tells me they won't be adding "Pooh" to the VMK dictionary anytime soon.

I'd say that Goofy deserves a limelight more than any other character. Except, of course, me. ;)

Donald Duck is my favorite character too. It's difficult to say why there isn't more of him on VMK. Lets just say he's had a bit of contraversy in the past. Like, one parent misunderstood him and thought he said <removed>, and they took most of his cartoons off the air for example. So, maybe it has something to do with the censorship older cartoons have gone under lately, due to violence/language.

I will contact VMK and ask them about it, it's difficult to really say. I liked all the duck characters from Disney. Uncle Scrooge, the nephews, Daisy, and Ludwig Von Drake. Ludwig Von Drake is just :lachen70: I also liked Quack Attack which seems to have not gone over too well, as far as there being any real merchandising for it. I saw like one DVD for it, and that's it. I liked the humour with the nephews being teens, reminded me alot of the humour from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Perhaps it's as simple as nobody has asked, so Donald fans, or Disney duck fans please write in telling VMK you want more duck stuff! :Donald:

psh, donald duck, mickey mouse... that is so old school. we've got the new generation of disney characters now yavn, lily, fin... (i was being sarcastic)
but its true, you all treat them like costumed characters, surrounding them and asking to be friends and being super nice to them. all we need now is a yavn shirt and a poster that says "I Glove Yavn" or maybe even a yavn hat so we can wear yavns head ontop of our heads in the same style as the stitch hat

I love Cinderella, but I think they should have characters walking around the park and if make a toon town area they should come out at certain times like at the park and then we can take a picture with them and they no talk like in park LOL

My VMK name is Bestdonaldfan, and I have been on the "lets see some more Donald" campaign for a long time now.....as you can tell I have had little success. I would love some items involving Donald, kind of like the Mickey items.

Oh cool ideas! Yes autographs would be fun and could use them as an NPC. I think it would be neat to be a character in vmk work for a certain amount of time in a costume that would be neat also.

When I went on the VMK tour they said that when they were coming up with the concept for the game their research showed that players would not want the fab five as a integral part of VMK they wanted other characters brought in :)

BobRay, you are right! Donald is the best. I love the way he gets all short-tempered and crabby, but in a funny way. A Donald hat would Rock!

I was thinking another really good addition would go with the Mickey TV, Mickey Rug, and Mickey window coming out would be:

A chair or table that is a big Doghouse... it would have "Pluto" written over the entrance.

Now what I would like to see is VMK Central playing old cartoons like steam boat willie. That would be AWESOME!

When the Fanatsyland Courtyard first came out I made up my Pan outfit in honor of the Pan ride and a lot of peeps wanted to take pictures with my charcter so I started hanging out in that area and I would say.. - Step right up and take a picture with Pan :) - And then I would ask if they wanted me sign their character book. Peeps would say - Hands book to Pan - and then I would say - Signs.. Best wishes, Pan! - It was really fun and a lot of peeps enjoyed it a lot I think. :) The instances of the Fantasyland Courtyard where I was doing it even got a wait a few times. When VMK first started (almost 2 years ago now) the idea of characters walking around and players collecting autographs was introduced by members here in the forums (do a search, I am sure that you will find the threads).

The idea would be that regular characters would be around but occasionally rare characters would appear. Like the Hidden Mickey, one would have to find all the characters (or levels) to get certain rewards (pins?)

Toontown has characters walking around and now that the Waiter Gator is "walking" around the Bayou, it seems that this original concept is getting closer.

It's Goofy or nothing for me.

They said it was random surveys conducted across a wide variety of areas, I think there was something about making VMK more about the parks than the characters to begin with. I can't remember for sure as I went on the tour over 1 1/2 years ago :confused: wow it has been that long!

But the parks are nothing without the characters.
I would not going to a disney park if I wasn't going to see any characters, thats one of the most magical things about Disney parks

I've waited in line for hours to see the characters at the parks. And they don't have FastPasses!

The Disney characters make it fun.

Like at Chef Mickeys I was getting Goofy to sign my autograph book, and he took it and wrote his name in the place where I was supposed to write my name, and we fought over it for a good 4-5 minutes.
They're just fun.

But yeah, waiting in lines for hours to see Characters is boring, but once you see them its pretty cool.
Unless they are being rude like the few i've encountered.

Really! It all started with a mouse.. Mickey. Pluto and Mickey are THE team. You just can't have a Mickey without a Pluto! Poor Pluto..

If you're looking on the updated list of planets, he was demuted. You should check the list of dwarf planets. If you want to see him for real, though, good luck. He is many light years away from us.
