I crash going into the music game and it gets very annoying when I do crash. Especially if I'm doing a quest. Something I found helpful is if you went to a room that has nobody in it. If you do this and there is nobody in that room, there is no way you are going to crash. I found this very helpful, you should try this. Zones I found that usually crash on me is the monorail and the Music Game. The thing about the monorail is you can't change rooms to where there is nobody in that room. But you can with the Music Game. So if your computer crashes, maybe you should try this. It will help.

Another good tip to remember is that if you have already made it into the queue and selected your song before you crash, wait a little bit before you restart vmk. If you wait, your character will still play your mix and you will still get your credits. Then you will not have to do this over when you restart. It works in both music games, but you have to have already selected your song, or at least clicked on the yellow queue circle to start the process of selecting it.

I always crash in the music room, empty or not. The only way I stay connected is to have my music turned off.

I always crash in the music room and in the monorail, too. I have a very short song of two notes that I play for quests. I go to an empty music room, play my song and get out before I crash. It is harder in the monorail because after you mix, you don't have a choice about which monorail you end up in. I click the queue and then try not to click anything else but the song to play. This sometimes helps. As was said before, if you crash anyway, you will still play your song and get the credits.

I crash in both music areas..and recently entering the HM Lobby. I remembered when everyone was so happy because they were NOT crashing anymore and I began to think..Hey..is it just me?

Nice to see others crash too.

Now off to make a 2 note song when vmk opens ;)

I don't like making small songs just to get credits.I make them for the fun! It's fun when you play it because you can hear comments.(I do not make small songs,i make full songs and try to make them blend)

I don't know if this will help you are not, but it helped fix a crash problem I was having with pirates. I could play they game but when I re-entered the lobby afterward I would crash when I closed the message screen. So it was basically play a game then disconnect. most in my family were having this problem, but one wasn't. We checked her setup and the only thing different was that she didn't have the sound effects box checked in her control panel. So I unchecked mine hit ok and started playing pirates. This corrected the problem. The entire family has made the change and it has worked for all of us. It sounds like your problem might be different but it's worth a try anyway. I hope it helps though.

I guess I better try the music game I haven't played it since the Fantasyland changes.

There is something to be said for two note songs though. I have on that I made for quests. It helps move the line when there is a backup. I would recommend that others do the same, at least for quests.

Why does everybody make two-note songs? I make one-note songs and save half the time!
