well my computer was TOTALLY LAGGING so I am having to re-log in right now

yep, 8000 players online!!!

I'm not at the moment... Just check back in a few minutes. I wouldn't make a thread about this, because when it isn't full this will be totally off topic, pretty much.

If you didn't understand that, VMK's servers are too full to get more people on.

I just checked the Sci-Fi Dine In. Nothing special in there. Must be just because VMK is full and everyone seems to go there.

I just got the "VMK has crashed" white box, managed to log back on, but am now in a queue of 6 people to get to Fantasy Courtyard. These rugs sure are popular :)

Yeah, I can't get in. The count when I had trouble was 7999. I guess that 8000th person really tipped the scales.

I was in the Courtyard and couldn't move for 5 minutes. I was clicking and trying to move but couldn't. The lag is terrible tonight!

I wish they would open the gates of the kingdom and let others in!

When I finally managed to get into the Courtyard there are about 10 people just standing there, not moving. Only two of us are actually going on the rides. When the ride was finished I had another queue to get back :(

Nope. It's when kids from California are home and ready to play. Us people in Europe are annoyed because now that we're home from work and have time to play we can't because everyone else is on :P

Could the ride-a-thon possibly causing this much people to be on at once?
Usually, we have about 4000-5000 people in the kingdom.

I've also come to the conclusion that some selfish people are hogging the servers through mules.

You guys, please share the system so that all of us can enjoy this event.

lol no, it's like a temporary guest account so You can put in codes and stuff trade them with your actual account.. but I don't want to be giving you ideas ;)

Whats a mule?

A mule account is a Extra account that people create to earn extra credits from the NPCs as well as other stuff. Its basically an extra account, and some players have lots. There are probably lots of Mule accounts riding the rides right now to score extra free Items.

Im actually very proud to not have a single Mule account.

hmm it wont let me on due to fullness, very unfair.

i seriously got dc 10 times in 1 hour do the math, too many!!

I love my mule accounts, they are quite helpful, but this is just ridiculous. I can't long on to my main account, not even get one player on. I get, "There is no current connection. The connection was disconnected." Then, it tries again and pops up its lovely second screen:"Connection to the server failed. Press the button to try again."

I have one mule account but it is a boy lol so that's no help to my girl account. one day i was curious of the stuff for boys so decided to make a boy account i rarely go on it like once a month

Maybe thats what is causing it, Maybe when people disconnect its glitching and the server is thinking there are actually 8000 people when there may only be 3000.

So I'm in vmk everything is going,well let's just say everything was going ok. Then, BOOM! I lose connection? I mean who loses connection? And why now?

MagicMonkeys: I don't ever remember VMK giving a number to the Mule limit. I know they don't like when people have tons of them, but I haven't heard of an actual number. And anyway- I seriously doubt if there are many players running 6 accounts right now. Sounds like its torture to even have one up!

Yeah sorry Monkey pretty sure that your information is a bit off so please get it straight before you go around posting numberous posts about it.

Proof:I have more than 5+ accounts and none have been deleted, which I have had for a long time now.

but it said once in newsletter to keep checking up on your accounts if you haven't been on in many many months then they are probably deleting your account to make room for new ones that's what i think i read

Under the play now button on the VMK home page, there is no longer a number of players. Its blank.

About the whole extra mule thing I asked through contact us once ( I don't know if I still have the message) but I asked about it, because there are 6 people in my house who play vmk, and we were making mules during treasure detector magic. I was worried our ip would be banned. I asked how many we are allowed to have and if there is a chance of being banned.
I got a message back from staff saying that a mule is a character you use once and never use again, but if you log into the characters enough to where they are not deleted, they are not considered mules. They only ban people when they take the mules to the extreme meaning probably over 100.
They didn't say a specific number, but they didn't make it seem like a few mules would do anything, most certainly not 6.

Yes! That is what is going on. My Friend looged off about an hour ago when we where in my room, right before i DC i checked back in the room and noticed someone else was in there It was my friend who had looged off over an hour go. It shows on my list he isnt on though. Weird

yes!! i get lucky that the log in page shows up but not lucky enough for it to actually load i type my username and password then it freezes

here's the exact phrase yavn used in the vmk newsletter:

"....3. Mules
A Mule is an account that is created and used just once or twice to gain items or credits. While it's OK to have a few different accounts/characters to play with, there are some players who have hundreds of characters, and rarely use them. If you are a player that has lots of Mules (more than 50) beware, we're now cracking down on these players and will start banning accounts...."

do keep in mind that by banning, he doesn't mean the player... just the mule (so basically your mules will be deleted for ya).

Against the rules or not though, mules are a selfish way to take up the servers.

i hope this doesn't happen tomorrow but for the ride a thon there wont be rugs tomorrow will there? what's the point? if it is something different same problem maybe?

It isn't working at all for me, I've tried typing in all of the Narnia codes I've recieved from the game. And not only did I get message lag, but when I open up my message box, there are no friends on my list and I crash instantly. I might as well not play VMK for the rest of the night. But for all those who have no problem playing VMK, lucky you! :)
