Couldn't we have like a placeto where we can post stuff on Universal Studios? Maybe even just a ''Other Orlando Parks'' like Universal Studios Orlando and Sea World Adventurepark Orlando. I mean not many peopel look in the off-topic area for universal studios and stuff. You cant put universal studios information or dicussion on the new simspons ride coming in in the WDW section. So can we please have a section for that?

I believe this is a Disney based site. Why should we give an entire forum devoted to a theme park (even if it is a good one) that trashes Disney parks in their advertising?
I think we have a forum for those other parks: Off Topic.

A lot of other Disney sites don't have off-topic forums.

Yea they do. They call it other things other than off-topic or you need to be a member in it like group memberships.

Frankly, I haven't seen many threads on this topic. We normally require a certain amount of postings before creating a new forum for a topic.

*Sarcasm off*
No, Batleth is right. Because this is a Disney forum, most of the users here talk about/are traveling to a Disney park.
There are a few people who ask for help on Universal occasionally, but since this is a Disney forum, Universal Studios is a kind of a second-rate park here.
There's not really enough hoopla about Universal to make a forum over, as Batleth said.
And, you have a thread on Universal? I suppose that shows how little that the park is talked about around these parts.
But hey, if you want to post in a forum specifically set aside for Universal, I'm sure you can go to one of the many other Disney sites you mentioned that do have a Universal forum.

I'm going to put my own personal opinion about this.
I have nothing against Universal, but I don't believe there's been enough discussion of Universal and there probably won't be much opportunity to discuss Universal to the degree of our "other" subforums.
One thing I notice about other disney-related fansites is that many threads mentioning Universal involve "vacation planning." Because this is a forum for children, we have a particular rule with the concern for child safety in which we don't allow users to post specific trip dates to the real parks.
What makes "Magic Kingdoms" section of the forum draw significant interest from the users is that users see & experience in VMK representations of the happenings, attractions, events, etc that go on in the real parks and they want to know or share those experiences and direct correlations between VMK and the theme parks they represent. Plus, any new attraction and seasonal event that pops up in the real parks will most likely have VMK have an event, item, update, etc associated with it.
Plus, with the "Magic Kingdoms" section and even with the threads explaining that posting trip dates are not allowed, moderators (including myself) still have had to edit a multitude of posts because of users basically giving out personal information in the form of specific vacation dates.
So without any direct correlation to VMK to draw direct interest from the game experiences plus the restrictions on posting vacation plans, there won't be enough of a draw to have enough of a discussion on Universal. The "off-topic" forum is probably best suited for Universal discussions.

Yeah, and then what? Forums for Sea World, Busch Gardens, Six Flags, and everything else?
I think "Off-Topic" covers them all nicely.
