Hi! I was just reading "Yavn Speaks!" and I wondered if anyone has ever met Yavn, or is he just a person who does a spot in the Newsletter?

I ran into him once in Town Square a long time ago. Nice guy. Said he'd look into the trading lag problem.

I met him on my first day on VMK. Sadly, I had no idea who he was.

Yes, I have seen him in VMK many times. When I first saw him way in the beginnings of VMK with Flying Carpet Magic, and I didnt really know who he was, but asked to be his friend, and later found out he accepted and later found out who he really is. I usually take some time if he is on just to say Hello, or Thank him if something is new, etc.

It seems that the older VMK is getting and as these months are flying by he is getting more and more busy, so there is not really time for him to talk much.

I'm not sure, but I think the owner of this thread wants to know if you met yavn IN REAL LIFE. Anywho, I douibt anyone has seen him in real life.

Since she didn't seem to know yavn helped develop VMK, and thought he only did a Newsletter article every week, it is logical to assume that since he went to Disny, someone might have met him there. Either ways is answerable though, either in VMK or in real life. ;)

He is one of the producers for the game, and yes, he plays. I'm his friend on my old account (unless he deleted me).

I'v met him in his room something called Yavn's water ride, something like that. that you just ride through a slide ride and just exit the room, while i was there i met him and did the flying carpet magic! i took a pic, and still hanging in my quest room.

i have seen him when he was showing everyone tron and he was wearing the tron suit.

It seems that the older VMK is getting and as these months are flying by he is getting more and more busy, so there is not really time for him to talk much.VMK is really not old, just more people are starting to play it, and beta seems like such a long time ago..

I have seen him in VMK several times most notably in a guest room lostmind put up to show off all her pictures of the Club33 party I had last month. He saw the title and came by to see the pics, ask about how things went and just to get info on the party. He sat around, chatted and then said ty and left. Seems like a normal guy and I'm sure he is. I've IM'ed him here also and he replied politely to most of them and didn't answer the rest at all. Sounds like a normal dude to me?

My title was altered by request by MODS first to reflect my current VMK avatar's title and it is green and scrolls because that was the prize for being in the top three for arcade high scores. The title under my name was written in by the MOD that made my title green and scroll and is my default user saying, I didn't actually write that in myself(that might not be to cool to brag like that) but since it is there I just leave it.

I don't think I've had a reason to complain (yet lol) I just like reading it... i kinda know though not to totally expect with it said in there... not all the time.. for example.. i'm waiting for the printable Tomorrowland quest (for Disneyland) were we can get the red space suit magic pin cause i'm not good at pirates and i cant get the in-game one. So i'm waitng and crossing my fingers for this one.

He isn't the owner of VMK, he is a producer.... No one person owns vmk.

I know yavn in game I am on his friends list. Odd thing is I always message him asking how he is when he is on and he never responds......

Hehe, tis amusing. No, I've never met Yavn, but I don't mind. He's another person in the world, who just so happens to be quite well-known among us VMKers, due to the role he plays in VMK.

Sorry if I offend anyone or Yavn, himself. You're a very busy person and I really respect that and the work you do. It'd be a wonderful experience to work for Disney or anything in affliation with Disney one day.

yes, i have, last year, he came to my trade room, ( heh i was poor back then ) the people in my room were VERY demanding and wouldnt leave me alone for a week about yavn coming.. it was great, he and CL_slinkyman showed up and showed us carpet magic and other cool stuff

So apparently he does exist!

I have seen Yavn before, but he wasn't talking, I think he was just supervising his room.

Met him, said Hi, asked about a bug, and left. Simple.

I saw him once when he was showing the Tron Room. Before they released the quest for it.
I sadi"Hi", but that was about it.

Once i was so lucky, but he was kinda brb. amost got to talk to him.

He was in game alot more back in the early days. But with so many things to do now, he's hardly in the game as far as I've heard.
