CL_Pebble PM me saying that they where not taking anymore Community Leaders.. IS THIS TRUE!? I really want/wanted to become a Community Leader.. i will do what i have to do to get in Community Leader Place :poison: And when i am done, i will come out looking like this :piratesk:

Yes it is true, but only for a little while. They are not accepting anymore applications until December 1. Hope I helped you out!

If you are wondering why VMK is not taking more community leaders, this could be because there are way too many community leaders, and some of them do not do their work as they should while others no longer play the game. I think VMK is taking its time to clean a bit the Community Leader list and you will hopefully be able to apply on December 1st. Good Luck with this! You'll need it!

Drat! No wonder why they still haven't replied. (I sent in my questions back in August) Oh well, December's not too far away.

When you say you haven't heard from them, do you mean you haven't gotten questions or that you've not heard since you answered your questions?

If you've not gotten questions, I wouldn't hold my breath, but if you did send in questions, then there's still hope. :) Hang on to it. :)

hey sooo not fair. they said i could re-apply in a month. its been a month............and now they wont let me. ::glares::

Question: I have already been sent the questions and of course I returned with answers, so what does this mean? Will this happen to anyone who applies now? lol

GrizzlyJones read GBShorts' reply again! If you have already sent in your answers, don't give up hope. I bugged VMK about my answers that I sent in on August 31st, and they sent me a reply back that said, "We haven't forgotten about you - we've just got a lot of answers to check through. As soon as we've checked your answers we'll be sure to get back to you."

If you try to send in a request to become a Community Leader you will get the reply saying that they are not accepting applications until December 1st and onward.

They won't even reply to the answers I sent back. I sent it twice, and after the first try, I asked them and they said it should be working now. VMK won't reply to anything I send them.

I totally agree with CL_Kaironzet about the reasoning behind VMK's decision, in the long run it will be better for all of us. I know that it disappoints many of you who long to be community leaders. But I hope that all of you will take the opportunity to shine as outstanding players, and show VMK that you are Leader material, so when they open the doors again you will step in as a community leader who many look up to! Remember its not just a title it is a responsibility to all on VMK :wave2:

Just to tell you all, I have talked to some of the VMK staff lately and the only reason that they are not taking applications is because they have become so swamped with applications that they have to finish the rest and actually rest for once. Just wait till Dec. 1 and by then there will most likely be a new system to how you can send in an application.

Yes, they are halting new community leader applications...because they need to deal with the huge influx of applications they've accumulated. Are they still accepting CL's? Yes, they are. In fact I've been getting a "name change notice" in my VMK inbox every couple of days.

Just remember...the Community Leader title is just that...at title! You can do anything and everything a community leader does...without the name change or the little Sorceror Mickey badge. Just like many other things in life..the grass isn't greener! (So you don't have to become green with envy!)

That must be why I haven't gotten a reply. I would imagine they are swamped.

I applied twice already (first time rejected!) and got the questions on September 5th, and I have kept on sending in my application maybe every 2-3 days or so. I hope to hear good news from them... It's almost approaching the 3rd week. I know some who have waited a month. Friends tell me to be persistent (sending in the application often), but that probably annoys the VMK staff.. so I'll send in my application again in a little while...
