For those of you who are POTC Online Beta Key-Holders, I am one too.
And I made an account, and tried to log into the game.
As soon as I get to the intializing part, I get a pop-up from my internet browser saying "Pirates of the Carribean Online! has encountered a problem and needs to shut down! Sorry for the inconvience!"

Because of this, I haven't even made a character yet!

And help would be appreciated.

So you got it too, huh? I posted that problem on POF and that didn't give me anygood help. I've uninstalled and downloaded that game over and over, yet still I get the same problem. Let me guess, it starts acting up once the "He's A Pirate" Song starts kicking in huh?

A friend of mine has also had this problem, we might as well make a club at this rate.

Could I have the URL?

What's the exact website/url for this game? I want to check it out but when I go on the one I think it is it says "Coming Spring 2007"

Just register on the main site ( www.piratesofthecaribbeanonline.com ). The URL will come to you in about 4 weeks

PirateMario, they can try, but i don't think BETA keys are sent anymore, since the public game is supposed to be released on May 15th.

Yeah that's true, I'd wait if I were you guys. Plus, this isn't the right thread to ask for URLs, huh!? >_<

Oh I signed up a long time ago, and i just checked my email and I got it:)

Beta testing is....but only the makers know if it will be free in the After-Beta game.

Well...I think there is a way. We might have not met all of the requirements

PC running Windows XP
2 GHz or faster processor
1 GB RAM
128 MB video card


I got the first one down, but the last three I don't know how to check!

You can check most of those things by doing this in your computer:

Start> CP > Performence and Maintenence > See Basic Things About YOur Computer (and look at the Computer section)

I meet all of the requierments, I thinl. Not sure about the video card or the Direct X9 or somethin'.

Well, I just checked, I did meet everything. Yet I still don't know what's going on!?
