I have been thinking of a crazy idea for the virtual magic kingdom and have decided to finally send it! I just sent it successfully through the contact us and hope to hear back from them soon. Just remember this: the movie man has a few more things up his sleeves

I have an idea for the virtual magic kingdom that I personally feel would be an interesting addition. Now, as we know, the magic of movies in the history of Disney has been a large success in Disney history. It has brought some of the most famous and greatest rides in history to the real world and even to VMK! These include Peter Pan's Flight inspired by the movie as well as Alice in Wonderland. Let's not forget forget about all those other classics such as Dumbo, Snow White, Aladdin, etc.

I have an idea that would bring the magic of movies and the imaginations of the virtual magic kingdom community to new heights! Set up much like the quest machine, I believe VMK could create a movie maker. It would be a metal structure much like the quest machine and would operate much like it as well giving you the additonal options of transitions and video effects to add to the video. We could use our pictures that we take with our cameras and film from vmk central in our videos as our picture supply.

I have an overlay of the movie maker optional screen inside of my mind. I can imagine a screen, similar to the quest machine, pop up with a timeline below. Above would be a tab bar with five options. The first option to the far left would be the pictures section where you would be able to search and supply pictures into your video. The second tab would be video effects, meaning that you could use your video effects to add a special effect to your pictures. The third tab would be transitions, meaning you could have a small plate of film in between two pictures which makes the video move smoother and more quickly. The fourth option would be text meaning you would be given the option to allow text in your video, such as titles or end credits as examples. The fifth option would be music and audio. The music and audio, I admit, is a tricky situation but believe it could be easily brought out. The audio tracks that you use in your video maker on the front page under Jake's Park area could be supplied and installed previously into the system of the movie maker and aloud to be used. I also had an interesting idea of actually being able to purchase disney songs and being able to use them in your movies. It would be interesting to go to the Emporium on Friday's and through the weekends being able to get a special disney song much like a pin series. It would be a different feel to the kingdom, but of course, that is all up to you.

I admit steps three and four could be combined easily since they are very similar. They are both effects added to the film or video to make it more interesting and run smoothly.

I had an idea of how many parts would actually go into this system. We would have the movie maker itself, which I believe would cost similar to the quest machine but a little less. We would have the large movie projectile screen that you use and that your videos are uploaded onto and viewed to the audience when they are complete and then the songs you purchase on the side to add. Two parts to have your film projected and created and other parts to make the movie in the long-run.

I realize this is a lot to take in and is a large step but believe that the magic of movies should be incorporated into VMK more. I realize that you do use movies and rides as themes and environments for the kingdom such as Narnia and Pirates of the Caribbean, but I believe that VMK can take that extra step and mile to make the magic of movies come to life. It would be amazing to see the imgaginations of the members be able to soar through the sky much like they do with quests, games, and guest rooms.

I also realize that the yellowish color that pictures are taken with would be a little awkward in the film which gave me another idea. That when you are taking a picture, you would be able to choose what type of color you would like it to be taken in. The original, yellowish color used previously or in full color. I think it would be an interesting touch.

I would love to hear back from you as soon as possible about your thoughts on this and want to thank you for listening. Have a nice evening
