I've got a question! How rare are host pins after they stop giving that months pin away? Are they considered rare? Or do they become rare after a few months? I would really appreciate some help!

alot of people consider rare to be something you can no longer obtain without trading (or in some cases difficult to get like stitch and sparrow)

but if you mean by value, the pins wont have much value until about a year after the host pins have been not available anymore.

Host pins haven't been rare since the Jolly Roger.

Because they have been so much easier to obtain.

Exactly.

Um. Remind me: Why were they so rare previously? Were there fewer host events? I don't remember what changed last summer to make host pins suddenly worth so much less.

Host events were harder to get into, you had a very high chance of DC'ing while in line or in the HOST event itself, and you actually had to trade those host, which made you even more proned to DC'ing.

Oh and don't forget easy 30 second quests where mules can be used to get as many as you want.

Yeah, that's true. It's so much easier to get them now. I can't remember how many times i tried to get into that host line and when i finally got in it i was so happy. Then after waiting for those 50 people to get in and it was finally my turn, i DCed.

That was my favorite part..

Oh yes i remember that, I could never make it into the lines because only 50 people were allowed in line at a time..

The only host pin I have is the Matterhorn Bobsleds. And now I have the whole set. After a while they should get rare. :)
