Just a though I had-

What if there was something that when you send a PM there is another section in your box. It will show all the messages you sent in the last 24 hours and show weather the person saw the message, PMed you back, or didn't see the message.

Because if you know me, I always want to make sure people get my PMs :D. Just a though

I'd love to have that option. Sometimes I wonder whether to poke the person again because they missed or they were just ignoring me. :)

And since you said most people don't care to use it, why not make it an option? Like it's an option to leave a pm you sent in your sent box.

I'd like to use it, it'd be useful to me.

That would be a helpful option because sometimes you wonder if they either have not veiwed it yet or have not set back a message.

We need to have it set so mods will recieve a tracked PM back. If we allowed all users to track PMs, then we'd have to give people the option to allow or disallow a track. We wouldn't want someone stalking another user by this means. Though this would defeat our own purpose of using tracked PMs which contain warnings/reminders/ban notices. Therefore, I'm going to have to say "no" to allowing all users to use this feature. If vB changes things in the future that will allow us to track PMs, but give other users the option, then we'll make the change at that time.

Precisely what I was thinking. I'm pretty sure there would be some crazy fans out there looking for a certain somebody.

And, besides, we always have the ability to view a user's profile and see what their viewing. If you're lucky, you might see them viewing "Private Messaging".

I see no point in usuing it. Isn't a Pm supposed to be privete?
