I talked to yavn and he said that we'll be getting magic and clothes soon, but for now..nothing that new :(

a few Cast Members at WDW told me the the new lands will not be open till December. i do not know how true that is.

Yes, I agree. With 'Day 1' issued, I assume that's closed for new users.

it will not be closed for new users, but they will not recieve the day 1 badge.


as for as soon as the new lands open, i hope it is quite soon, i think everyone is getting antsy with the lack of new things to accomplish.

however, with that being said, i am still more than impressed with the determination, and hard work the entire VMK staff has used. from monitoring everything, to taking what we say and trying to implement the feedback, it is a awesome experience.

the badges are cool i hope the put new stuff later today or this month cuse it is kinda boring going to the same thing but vmk is fun :)

yeah it took me a while to log in but i finally got on!

I just posted this elsewhere but ladyvader and Horizons (mother/son) are currently playing from WDW and the CM there said no new lands until FALL...

Don't know how true that is but it is coming from a lot of sources.

I was thinking maybe we got Day 1 from being on since opening of BETA, and they just gave it out now...but I logged in with my alt character, which was made well after BETA opening, and she has it too. So today really is Day 1.

You do this alot Xipri, you relay false information and generally stir a very big amount of people's feelings. I am going to trust Yavn before I trust Cast Members, because a Cast member told me last night, that I have a better chance of knowing when launch is then they do. You did this before with the new things coming out. PLEASE do not get everyone excited. I was told last night not to be dissapointed, therefore thats why this isn't a bid deal to me, at least I can go to sleep now. If you have a problem with my general warning, please feel free to PM me so we can carry this discussion farther. Thank you

Yep MrLunatix, you are correct! I couldn't agree more!

Also, as Shorts said, Horizons (a friend of ours on VMK) and his mother, Ladyvader, are in Disneyworld as we speak. They were in the VMK kiosk area waiting to go on a tour of VMK and they were told no new lands until Fall. So unless those cast members in the park are misinformed.....and Ladyvader is the one who gave us this info so I would assume she is not lying. They also live by Disneyworld and go there often so.....I guess we can always hope! :o

First day on non beta yesterday perhaps... and we been there testing since before public....

I saw new guests yesterday WITHOUT the "here since day one" notation...so I would take it to mean you were here before the official release. I've been told the game opened in the afternoon on May 23, so unless we ALL opened it that day (I opened it the morning of the 24th...) we wouldn't all have it. :)
