A couple of tips....

1) I wanted those VMK Pirate items you get from buying the real pins and getting a card with a code with them. I am not near a park and never had any luck trying to buy online...but when I went to the Disney Store in New York City they had the pins for sale!

2) You can submit ticket stubs for Meet the Robinson's for Disney Movie Rewards that can get points to be redeemed for the VMK Home Theater Items. I submitted my movie stubs (our family of 4 went) and not only did I get 50 points per ticket, I got an additional 50 bonus points! So an afternoon at the movies netted me 400 of the 500 points needed for the home theater. The survey you fill out provides the other 100 points.

I just looked at the site and it says that the double points for movies is good through 4/15/07.

You submit the ticket stubs through the www.disneymovierewards.com site.

The VMK Pirate pins can be bought at the NYC Disney store on 5th Avenue...I hear that this is still a Disney owned store and that is why they sell those pins there.

My dad threw his away, but I kept mine! I was alreadt a member beforehand so I was trying to keep the tix. If I go again with my mom I want to get more, even if they are only 50 a piece.

actually the web site specifically states you can only cash in 4 stubs per movie. This is likely to prevent people from collecting stubs from friends or the trash. Sorry Neoteny but they won't honor all of them. Of course you can use multiple accounts but each will not be above 400 points.

i have a disney store near here are pirate pins at every store?

Arg! I think I threw mine out. A nice change for earning points instead of buying movies.

Anyone know what the April 15 deadline applies to on the Movie Rewards website? Is it when your submission is postmarked, or when they receive it?
That's a good question. It's not clear from the Web site.

I sent my ticket stubs off on Monday, and I've already gotten my 800 points credited to my two accounts. Yay!

You can have more than one Movie Reward Account, just like you have more than one VMK account.

I don't think you can get those VMK pirate pins at any Disney Store...probably limited to the Disney owned ones like in NYC.
