View Full Version : Sunrise Fastpass
Facnyface 04-10-2007, 01:29 AM I noticed. When you do a fast pass like one of the first peopleat a popular attraction they give you a fast pass good for another ride in the park. I did it at Test Track and got a free fast pass good for Honey I Shrunk The Audience from 2:00 - 4:00 something new WDW is doing. Anybody else do this.
Neoteny 04-10-2007, 04:06 AM I don't understand what you mean. What is new?
Thark 04-10-2007, 04:34 AM It isn't a new option. Test Track and a few of the other EPCOT attractions have been providing two fast passes at once. Been about over a year and a half that Test Track has been providing two passes, one for itself Test Track, and one for a less popular attraction, Honey I Shrunk the Audience.
What happens is when you put in your ticket you get two fast passes. The purpose of this is to try and get people to go to the other attraction. I would like to note that it is not an all day event or everyday event. It happens at times chosen by the park cast members.
Neoteny 04-10-2007, 04:37 AM I've never needed a FastPass for Honey I Shrunk the Audience. That attraction never seems to fill up.

Which is the point for the two fast pass system. It encourages people to go to the other target attraction. Another example would be in MK, I will try and remember the two attractions involved.
SuperBillyHill 04-10-2007, 06:14 AM We got some extra Fast Passes for Autopia one time from I think Splash Mountain but I'm not positive. And we also got fast passes for Buzz Lightyear and Space Mountain when we turned in quests at the VMK kiosk in Tomorrowland. But here's a tip I figured out... When we got those fast passes from VMK Central it made it so we couldn't get another fast pass for 2 hours so if you do go turn in quests be sure to get a Fast pass for a really good attraction (Like Jones or Space or Splash) before you turn in the quests. We did that the next time we went and we got some more Fast Passes and also already had some. We were fast passing fools! LOL
April 04-10-2007, 01:28 PM I remember the last time I went, we got fastpasses for Mission: Space from Test Track, and this was only about 2 months ago.

Yes, I have received a pass like this. It is kind of like a cool mind game of winning something, "Disney just gave me a free fast pass for Honey I shrunk the audience!! Woot! Lets check it out!!"
:)

Oranges 04-10-2007, 09:36 PM I've never needed a FastPass for Honey I Shrunk the Audience. That attraction never seems to fill up.
That's the point: it's to get you to go.
But um, what's so "sunrise" about it?
Facnyface 04-10-2007, 11:24 PM Becuase it's right when the parks open which is basicly well witht he tiem change when the sun rises lol.
Oranges 04-11-2007, 01:00 AM I mostly get stuck with Honey! tickets... and I usually just pitch them anyway.
Facnyface 04-11-2007, 02:28 AM Yea. Try gettingto be a tester for Soarin` and then getting stuck 15 stories ((Top Level)) in the pitch black for 2 1/2 hours i mean i couldn't even see my hand in front of me that's how dark lol the chair had got stuck good thing is was only me and a few other CM's testing it after earlyer in the day the guests were reporting that the keep feeling a slight tremmor when they were lifted and put back down so they closed it and then we got selected to test it and lol well it broke down. But also go to Animal Kingdom and be like th very first person for Kilimanjaro Safarifast pass and it will give you EE it used to give Kali River Rapids now it gives EE lol everytime.
Oranges 04-11-2007, 10:14 PM Not even Tower of Terror is fifteen stories tall. Soarin' only goes up a maximum of about 45ft on the top level.
Facnyface 04-12-2007, 02:57 AM Eh close enough. But it was at the very top level it was pretty cool now they switched me back to Entertainment, eh Disney Online again..
figmentisback 04-12-2007, 04:59 AM its actually called a 'Surprise Fastpass'
some major attractions will give a fastpass for a lesser attraction like hony which get less visitors to generate attendance, mission space sometimes gives them, usually test track does.
Facnyface 04-13-2007, 01:16 AM Mission Space usually always gives them for Honey and Kilimanjaro hasb eengiving them for Everest lately I dont get that everest is usually 70+ minutes on a slow day and the line is liek constantly moving.

Yeah, Everest probably doesn't need any extra promotion.
Facnyface 04-14-2007, 04:43 AM Yea but then that's disney for you. I wonder why everest of all things lol.
