How many of you are pin collector. If so what pins do you have.

He means real life and no i'm not.. but I do have a Goofy pin my friend gave me from DLR

I LOVE real disney pins! I've got a lanyard full! I went nuts at the pin booth at DLR

I only have a few pins that are the ones they give you with the free gift lanyard thing that you get when you go on vacation to DLR and also we got year of a million dreams lanyards and pins when we went last holiday season. And I have some - who wants to be a millionaire - pins and a hat that my dad won because he actually went on the stage in the millionaire game when we went to DLR the first time. I think he got like 7 or 8 questions right and then he missed on so he was out but he got some small stuff from it and gave me the hat and pins. And the millionaire game was still there the next time we went but none of our family got on the stage that time and after that it's just been closed. But basically I'm, not into collecting pins or wearing them in the parks or anything like that. I don't even know if the pins I have are any good but I kinda doubt the free they give with the lanyard are any good. Those are probably like a Ned pin in VMK, lol. Maybe the dreams pins are a little better? And I think maybe the millionaire might be a little bit rare? idk.. Does anyone here that is a pin collector know if the dreams or millionaire pins are any good?

I have been collecting since April of 2000.

I started off collecting the free pins that WDW gave to Cast Members.
I then collected a pin every time I worked on a holiday, then it snowballed at the Epcot pin convention.

I have to limit what I collect or I will go broke I have at least 3000 keepers.

Disney Soda Fountain Opening Day Pins, that is a shop on Hollywood Blvd, that is next to the El Capitan Movie Theater, they sell a special Limited Edition pin with every Disney Movie Premier

I will also buy pins just because I think they are cool.

I collect Disney dalmatian pins. I also collect anything that's really cheap on eBay, so I can trade it for a dalmatian. I also collect, well, anything I like.

I have about two lanyards full! The only thing is, I don't really like to part with them. I keep another lanyard for pins I am willing to trade.

I do collect real life Disney pins. My collection is nearing 2000 pins worth, well...let's not go there, but it's going to pay for my college. ;)

My favorite pins, by far, are the cruiseline ones. They have a certain degree of rarity being cruise-exclusive that makes them unique.

I started collecting sometime in 2000 and was one of the first to be at the Pin Trading Center Opening in Downtown Disney. My favorite pins are Cruise Line, Olympic, and Cast Member.

i collect in real from both parks and on vmk. i think my collection in real is better than vmk one.:pinkbun:

I love all the Disney Pins, some of them move, some have some cute phrases on them, and some just look so cute ^_^ I bought my friend, who has never been to Disney, an Ariel one (she's on this fansite :rolleyes: ).

i used to have all of the old hotel pins, now i don't even wear any pins :l and i meant to hit No, not the what is pin collecting lol i know what pin collecting is :l

Well, if you mean Disney pins, then no. I have only been to a park once, and was too young to really be able to get into the pins. But i do have a few DI pins, if those count.

I have a limited edition pin. It costed me a fortune but I got it. Of course WDW. But it's a gold castle that has a message attacedto it at the bototm that says happiest celebration on eart celebrating 50 years of magic it's pretty cool i like it.

Yes i am! I have so much now. About 600-thousand? I don't know. But i've been collecting the pins since 2000 :] I have many rare pins. Not much of the Cast Member 'lanyard' series pins because i'm not really interested in those. I only have about 100 of them but as for the rest they are regular or rare. I have at least 50 that a certain amount of pins were given out for example i have one and it's a olympics pin of Chip and Dale and it says 'Pin 50 of 350' love the rare pins :]
